That’s what happens when you hire Penn State’s uniform designer. He thought he was getting way out there.

Rhetorical question?

Everything about them is derivative. “Texas” is primarily associated with UT. “A&M” and “Aggies” is generic and shared by a number of other schools.  “Texas Aggies” is ever so much like “Texas” (the UT kind).  A big T is derivative of UT. Even “Texas A&M” reminds them of their little brother status to just plain “Texas.”

That’s why they rely on the cosplay army, dead dogs, etc., etc.  Comstantly trying, and failing, to establish their own identity.

Aggie tier 3?  Which one of you fuckers has adroitly disguised himself as Steward Mandel and is trolling Tex-Ags?

aggy belongs in Tier 5 with the rest of the generic losers.

They hate us cuz they ain’t us

SMU in Tier 3 and aggy tier 4 makes more sense. In the NIL era, I don't think SMU is going to be happy just making the CFP once a decade.

Those were fun, and Marylanders love their flag. Grey onesies are so much worse.

I say that as someone literally looking at the white NC State versions. The uniforms are dogs.

Also, these exist:

Yeah, but it was awesome that they wore them against us and their once in a lifetime QB got Diggs’d. So much for that marketing gimmick.

I'd move Tennessee to Tier 2 (though they shouldn't be) and everyone else into Tier 5. All of Tier 3 is otherwise an an also ran and a couple of used to bes.

It's a shitty list and structure but I guess anything for clicks.

I hesitate to reply. I feel like I'm walking into a quagmire of shit posting from which I will never escape.

However, in case there are people who are not aware of it, this is a standard phrase of which they're very proud.

Aggie Glossary – Austin Texas A&M Mothers' Club

Aggieland – The term describing Texas A&M and Bryan-College Station.

“Aggies never lose, though they may run out of time” – Said after a losing effort implying that the team would have won if the game had gone on longer.

Association of Former Students – Rather than being called the Texas A&M alumni association, the words “Former Students” are used because it was felt that the term “alumni” would imply that a graduate would be an “ex-Aggie.” But once an Aggie, always an Aggie, so the word “alumni” was deemed inappropriate.

To pile on the "derivative" comments elsewhere on the thread, they don't say it in the above paragraph, but using "former students" rather than "ex" in regards to their alumni base is also derivative to set them apart from the hated T-sips, who call their alumni Texas Exes.

To be fair, their most recent conference championship is at least in this century, making it much fresher than A&M's.

Limiting access to the outside world is typical cultish behavior. I am not sure why anyone should be surprised.

Eric Liddell became a Christian missionary in China. Imprisoned in a Japanese internment camp, the U.K. kept arranging prisoner trades to free him. Each time, he told the captor to substitute someone sicker or weaker in his place. He ended up dying in that camp.

That glossary says it all. A&M is so self absorbed that it has to catalogue every thought or action it has ever engaged in, and It actually thinks that collection of absurd drivel is meaningful.

I mean, skim the damn thing. In aggregate, it's insane.

Aggieland is an asylum for people who have willingly chosen not to know better.

My son’s high school girlfriend later wound up marrying a missionary and spent 20 years in China.
