Many of them claim Arch had "terrible" stats in high school.  His stats in high school:

65% completion rate.  8,539 passing yards at 8.5 yards per attempt.  115 passing TDs. 19 INTs.

750 rushing yards at 7.6 per carry and 19 rushing TDs.

Arch Manning, a high school quarterback from Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, broke high school records set by his uncles, Peyton and Eli Manning. On October 1, 2022, during a game against Pearl River, Arch threw for 356 yards and seven touchdowns, surpassing both Eli's record of 7,268 career passing yards and Peyton's record of 93 career passing touchdowns.

Meh.  Stoopid sip.  Peyton and Eli are overrated.

A healthy amount of them want The Elk fired if he doesn’t go to the playoffs this season. I think he has like a $30+M buyout.

That would be glorious. Going into 2026, they'd be paying:

  • $X Million to New Coach
  • $7.0M to Elko for 4 more years
  • $7.2M to Jimbo for 5 more years

Doesn't include payouts to shitcanned assistants and staff.

Cracks me up that they still owe Jimbo more than their current coach.

Wait, are they the richest university with the bestest boosters and the mostest CEOs, or is the deck stacked against them?

"Why couldn't we pay him more than the sips?"

Because you morons are paying Jimbo Fisher eleventy-billion dollars to not coach football.

Much of it's history?

The compulsory corps and ROTC ended 60 years ago and they've been a coed school for 56 years. That's damn near 40% of their history, and quickly approaching the majority.

Every aggy born since ~1950, went to a coed, non-compulsory ROTC school.

So 60% of their history isn't considered "much" in your opinion?

Are you saying that period didn't have an impact on their current culture? I don't think I'm understanding your point.

We have multiple billionaires contributing millions to NIL? Well that’s news.

Legit lol at the guy suggesting “just wait until Bishop potentially develops and then go get him.” Bitch you couldn’t afford him out of high school you definitely won’t be able to if he becomes a major producer in the SEC. Also, who was the last high impact player we had transfer in general let alone to fucking A&M?

yes

It's great that we're considered a "top 10 NIL" collective, but realistically, if we want to land these types of players, we need to be in the top 2 or 3. Sure, we have a strong culture and something "special" going on here in Aggieland but at the end of the day, I think most of these
kids just want the bag

“Strong culture” and “something special going on here”

Talk about the lack of self-awareness when it comes down to their primary problems.

11 of them, to be specific. I saw it on TexAgs so it’s a fact now.

“AgShaun00” coming in with what will soon be known as fact - Texas had to pay double what ATM was offering to get Bishop. He’s already got access to both programs’ offers and what drove the decision for the player.

Also, to be clear, no recruit is getting a firm NIL offer from Texas at this stage in the cycle. Not Bell, not Bishop, not any of them. Guys committing now simply believe they’ll be taken care of and UT has players on the roster helping assure recruits that that is true. Agents and parents all know that as well.

Those idiots are truly lost.

We held at 11 so as not to infringe on their number

Can we change the 26 aggy recruiting thread title to "Jimbo has our bag."

Jimbo has two bags…..KKL and one for recruits.

Ya, just a small slot receiver that can run. No big deal to lose out to ebil tu since they don’t impact the game like the big manly man-beaters of A&M

Like Alabama, NIL might be ending A&M's glorious history pre-bag.

Again, spend what you will. Your view won't change.

Beating Texas and playing in national championship games? Great days ahead for the Texas A&M Fightin' Texas Aggies from Texas! Howdies all around!

1. Find another phrase. Maybe it will accompany an original thought.

2 Yea, before NIL, everbody was making the obvious choice and going to A&M. They were fine men. Now? Mercs. You fucking whiny bitches.

image.png.6f218620eb0d60adabbe15090653a810.png

It's the norm whether you're winning or not. It's also the norm when you're outspending us.

NIL provides them the perfect narative. Back when virtue reigned, the Ags were contenders and loved by all for their special ways. Now? Where have all the flowers gone? Just mercenaries.

I looked it up. According to CHAT GPT, UT has FIVE billionaire alumni.  More interesting to me is that UT is ranked 13th in the world in terms of alumni with Ultra High Net Worth (30 million dollars or more).  Harvard is number one with roughly five times as many UHNW individuals as UT.  The other schools in the top 10 are most of the Ivy league schools, as you would imagine. None of the schools ahead of UT is a football power except one .... USC, which ranks 11th in terms of UHNW alumni.  A&M is not in the top 25.

I'm pretty skeptical of Chat GPT's numbers on this...I think UT has well more than 5 billionaire alumni. That being said, I can name 4 off-hand, and all 4 of them aren't contributing to UT NIL. Pretty sure there's the saudi guy who gave Mack Brown a credit card for the old weight room. That would be 5. Something tells me we have a lot more than 5 Billionaires lurking around.

Has to be 5 just on this site alone

I mean is 30M Net worth even ultra high net worth.   I assume that would put you barely n the top 20% on here - maybe.

There are more than 5 in Houston alone.

That one fucking goober really said "We have a legitimate shot at signing the number 1 class.".... what a fucking tard. They're more likely to finish closer to 10 than to 1.

When did they turn into a national program? They’re idiots

they've been a national *laughing stock* program for awhile

everyone knows them

everyone laughs at them

It;s hilarious to me that those pea-brains on the Brazos think the only reason one would choose Texas over them is NIL $.

No reference to overall success, recent success, culture, coaching staff, draft success, trajectory of program, national pull/significance, returning players, national brand etc. not even leaning into the "playing school" aspects.
