June 4Jun 4 Always smh when I see a grown man wearing his ball cap like a pimply-faced teenager. Even moreso when its a middle aged guy.

June 4Jun 4 Pate is now in the world of being too close to things where objectively and critical thinking becomes blurred due to the unfiltered propaganda spewed directly at him. He's good on big picture stuff generally but team to team he's not keeping enough distance between himself and the looch's of the industry to be sensible. Now he just spews information that he gets as fact. Like Jackson Arnold is going to be good because two people told him.
June 4Jun 4 I hate to break up y'all's fun, but Looch's hair looks like that because he has his sunglasses on top of his head. Like a moron

June 4Jun 4 If only suit jackets had any pockets anywhere that could hold a pair of no-longer-needed sunglasses.

June 4Jun 4 1) once you do something like guarantee a contract, coaches and agents aren’t going to let you not guarantee theirs if you pursue them 2) the price of coaching for aggy is more than just annual pay. I imagine they’ll never ever ever know the truth of this or understand why.
June 4Jun 4 Looks like Looch was dressed for one of those "Plantation weddings". I wonder what the band was like?
June 4Jun 4 I ... don't think ADs at other schools are perplexed. I think they're laughing their asses off. As are we.
June 4Jun 4 Popular Post Watching Tom Herman 2.0 coach OU and Steve Patterson 3.0 be the AD at A&M has given me a stiffy.
June 5Jun 5 I read this and thought, "Oh This guy seems politically aligned with me. Who would have thunk?" Then I thought about it, and realized it works for the other side as well. I feel certain that the writer is writing from a definite perspective. Here, we don't mix politics with other stuff to avoid disagreement in the wrong forum. With Aggies, they comfortably write a political viewpoint because they know they all agree. They're that homogenized. Nobody there will step up to say keep politics out of this because it's as common among them as worship for the Aggie ring. Here, we think our own thoughts.

My take on all that backtracking by a known hack who claims insider status and is 0-2 in the last two coach transactions was when he referenced TA was hired to cleanup the budget, I thought he meant TexAgs and it seemed perfectly in step with that bumbling group of morons.

Typically, middle age range is 40~45 to 60~65 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_age), with the breakup being 0~20 as teen and earlier, 20~40-45 as adulthood, 40-45 to 60-65 as middle aged and 65+ as old.

I can’t wait until lunchtime at work or the first 30 min at home where the wife expects me to spend 30 minutes in my “office” (guest bathroom). Pretty frankly stuff there - but shit is real, no pun intended. 33 years on 5/23 and how we’ve made it past 20 is a great question? Hook’em!!!
June 5Jun 5 I already posted in the Divorce thread that she told me the week or so before our 33rd that she just doesn’t “love” me anymore, so I have that going for me, which isn’t nice! Hook’em!!!

June 5Jun 5 What we are seeing is beautiful. Texas acceptance rate is around 36%, aggie 77% for a diploma mill that keeps sinking in every known category for academics. While Texas is top 1-20 in damn near everything academically (my last degree, MPA - Texas is #1 still and has been for decades). Texas hasn't leveraged heavily to do this. aggie has. They still owe their academic funds, foundation many millions. Their athletic department, or what constitutes that, is in shambles and in the red fiscally. They could legit go bankrupt without us sharing some state funds with them in the next few years. They envision being a national brand, they are not. Anyone that has lived outside of Texas knows this. They failed in 12 years in the SEC, became a joke...again. Look at their bargain coach hires. Maybe Beavis pans out, the rest a Duke coaching staff no other SEC/Big10 would hire with a few years at Duke? Beavis no one has heard of but may be OK. Earley, yea we've seen that with a championship roster - they can't afford to fire him fiscally or perception. TA, tough job for a bad hire to figure it out. And they wonder why donations are so low.
June 5Jun 5 they just bought the shit of law schools and are building millions to support it with their trusted rectangle and few windows - East German or Russian style. aggie lawyer, good luck on your case. Medical, lol. Business, a few but hell, our drop outs supercede most of them. Their future is't bright on any standard.
June 5Jun 5 “Rank by year one records” is an awesome metric. Really tells the whole story for every coach. Why is Billdo Liucci the first guy to discover this?

Actually the UT acceptance rate this year was on the order of 17 or 18 percent. Most of the chuckle-fucks posting here, myself included, probably could not get into the university today. Advantage aggy of course, since all the nerds attending UT aren't sports fans; and because of their huge enrollment Aggy is a sleeping giant sitting on a powder keg of NIL, yadda yadda yadda.
