I think the funnier pic is before the scoreboard was built, when they had a corps person with marker and paper holding the score up.

The thing that always gets me about the whole concept surrounding the dead dog scoreboard, is the idea that the dead dogs can see through the caskets and dirt to see it, but couldn't see through the stadium to see the main one.  I know that I'm overthinking it, and that logic is the enemy of aggy, but I still can't wrap my head around how they conceptualize it.

Weirdly enough, that was actually my first thought too. I didn't think "dogs can't read scoreboards, especially dead ones. And even if they could, they wouldn't give a fuck." Instead, it was, "how are the dead dogs supposed to see through the wooden caskets and all that dirt/grass?"

More why would you want to torture them in their death since you already did that when they were alive.

Wasn't USC (just as big of a name as anyone on that guy's list) literally called just yesterday for having a lineman way down the field, erasing a touchdown? I'm pretty sure they were. That said, 2 out of 7 them displayed a reasonable, level-headed outlook on the call. That's a little more than 28%. So they did about 4 times as well I would have guessed.

edit: yes, they absolutely were - and it erased an amazing play by Lemon.

Funny you should mention the Trojans. I fully expect Riley to be hit with an aggy trademark infringement lawsuit any day now.

Too perfect - both for Riley's bitch ass and the Aggies. Maybe they can hire him next if/when Elko eventually gets run off. He already has experience with a desperate school giving him a ridiculous buyout

"We got us a sitting B1G coach with experience at a school that's in the SEC and he's got 4 conference titles and 3 playoff appearance. Tremble in fear because the sleeping giant has awoken, stupid sips."

Thankfully for Oklahoma, there's absolutely no precedent for an injured Heisman contending QB to rush a return from injury to play vs. Texas and then get re-injured early in the game.  Nope, nothing at all to worry about here!

It's not.

Except I remember it being a small whiteboard.  But yes, there was a Gomer holding a scoreboard for a bunch of rotted dog corpses.

A freshman cadet with a chalkboard providing updated game scores has given way to a miniature, electronic scoreboard to keep the dead dogs updated on the game.

No, but his supervisor is.

Texas A&M football debuted its "all-white uniforms," or "icy whites," on November 10, 2012, in a game against Alabama.

Texas football first debuted their all-white home uniforms on September 30, 1950, in a win against Purdue, marking the last time the team wore the "icy whites" at home for 70 years until a throwback game against Baylor in 2020. The all-white look returned in 2020 to honor the 50th anniversary of the 1970 national championship team, featuring classic elements like burnt orange lettering.

Aggy is still retarded.

Nothing screams I'm poor quite like Adidas Texas Aggies. Ah man, we want to be them so bad. Fuck!

I'll give them their due. They're undefeated and doing better than we guessed they would. It's a wild year, and who knows how far the Aggies or just about anyone else will go. I thought it would all be fun when we thought we were in the mix. All that we have over the Aggies is that we're not pointing to the Ohio State loss as proof we're really good.

All of that said, my goodness they are pumping themselves up based on beating ND at ND, which is certainly credible, and wins over Auburn and Mississippi State which is kind of dubious. MSU has a 14-game SEC losing streak extending back to 2023. They played the hell out of Tennessee and lost.

Auburn is 3-2 with a win over Baylor in August.

In the Aggies position, I'd be excited but cautious. As usual, the Ags think they have already arrived. They complain that they're not getting enough respect.

I guess this is dog bites man news, but I must feed my obsession from time to time.

Don't blame him! Blame that buddy he has close to the tu program who fills him in.

Well I don't know about you guys, but I'm in full excitement waiting for the letter that has been written showing Arch how to get to Oxford from all of aggy in case he gets lost in Bryan-Chernobyl nuclear reactor unit 4 Station

Guys, the reason for the scoreboard is so the dead dogs don't have to strain their eyes to see the scoreboard through all the concrete and seats.  dead dogs are known to have poor eyesight.

and bat guano.

They're doggie spirits now who can float up from the ground and glow. But they're lazy and don't want to bother spiriting themselves over the stadium wall (look at all those natties!) to see the game directly. They mainly smell each other's asses and spirit piss on the doggie scoreboard.

This is dumb, even for aggy. Beating OU should only be half a win.

And lest we forget A&M's signature win:

Looks like number 60 may be cheating, too. I hadn't noticed that because I was too busy admiring Bisontis' tackling form.
