Fuck the LFC fans that can’t get in, while raising hell outside and the tear gas that’s been deployed. Strat the fucking game, both teams have warmed up twice now. EUFA already knows the LFC fans a

Great. Now Villa have to win Europe 13 more times just to even Real Madrid's total.

killing away goals has really changed the dynamic the deeper we get in to the spring

it's almost looking like the nfl this winter a little bit.....   it's no longer tactical trench-fare, it's a race to the finish, score the most, score last.

A panenka.  From the spot. In a CL semi.  On the road. Down two goals. This Benzema guy is pretty good, not to mention balls of solid brass.

There’s a thread for that.

Yep and Madrid have to feel good after that performance only being 1 down.

I like that CBS gave Kate Abdo's dad a ticket to the match and then had him on afterwards for a little Q&A.

He's so quite and dry, almost a little bashful and his daughter is just this brilliant shining goddess of looks, knowledge, calmness, and multiple languages... (I love her). He must think that she hung the moon and she couldn't have found a way to make her pops happier other than replacing Citeh with United.

I haven't decided if I like it or not yet.  I liked the way 1 goal in the 2nd leg could shift a team directly from losing to winning.  Now you have to go from losing to tie to winning.

I’m a fan, and I wasn’t when it was announced last year.

I thinking scoring is way up and for the new/common fan (their growth segment long term) it makes way more sense on who advances. Turgid nil-nil road draws are no longer things to be celebrated.

I liked the away goals thing, but never understood how they could apply the away goals rule to OT played after the 2nd game.

That part was ridiculous.

This is where I am.  I liked it, but probably more so thought it was a fine way to differentiate over two games.  The dynamics so far have been interesting.

The proof is in the pudding. This has been one of the best years for CL football. Buh-bye away goal rule.

The USMNT will be lucky to lose 2-0 to England in the World Cup.

If the Cup were in June/July, with all of our injuries, we would be lucky to lose 3-0 and 5-0 would not be a surprise.

Do you even Merica, bro?

we are all yellow submarine

The linemen in this match have been awful so far. Fortunately none of the bad calls have been big calls, but it doesn't bode well.

Hell of a finish on that OG

Well that was fast.  Game back on...for now.

I like how both teams are wearing the same uniforms as in the first leg.

That was a great turn by Capoue to free himself for the cross

You gotta love sports.

The final 45+ should be entertaining.

He's been upright?

Yikes, shaky keeping there

And that should do it.  Today was much more entertaining than I expected at least.

sure seems like whenever liverpool subs on diaz, they almost immediately get two goals.

Credit to Villareal for levelling the tie and fighting like hell.  How nice would it be to have a Diaz on your bench?  Liverpool are just the better side.

So Liverpool's defense is the opposite of PK's?

Meant for the other thread

Guess I'm rooting for Liverpool in the final now

Consistency is important!

Benz should have tied it there

Grabbing your facing an flopping on the ground after getting hit in the chest is the dumbest thing about this sport.
