How’s Kerry looking vs Ducanville?

Don't know about Kerry specifically, but twitter informed me that with 9 minutes left in the third quarter, Mater Dei is up 31-3.  Beating the shit out of Duncanville.

I got negged by three people for posting Casey's highlights from the Alamo Bowl when many of you were convinced Card is much better. That's the QB who won a game for us and could be starting the first

This x1000.  I once worked with a sommelier, and he said this about wine, beer, and pretty much any drink, "If you enjoy it, it is good.  Who gives a shit what anyone else thinks about it."  He then sent me on my way with a cheep ass bottle of wine that tasted great, got my girl drunk, and got me a pretty nice bj.

Pics of bottle of wine ??

Just a bj? Must have been a Kendall Jackson Merlot.

The point of the beer talk is there is nothing to talk about, it's part of what makes this thread hilarious and follow worthy. If you want updates, here they are:

THERE ARE NO UPDATES

Some of you obviously haven’t experienced the beer cycle of life.

One starts with a pilsner or lager for awhile, gets tired of them, progresses to amber ales for awhile, then hits the IPA’s, then the porters and stouts. The whole cycle can take as short as six months or as long as a few years.

Then, once the cycle has been completed once or twice, you mix up all types from day to day. It is the beer cycle of life.

sad no mention of barley wines like Sierra Nevada's Bigfoot

Hmmmm. Cerveza Sol here.

Pacifico in the states

Sol doesn't seem to make the trip from Mexico well. There I drink Sol and turn in the bottles too!

It’s definitely a different beer down there.

WIne makes me sneeze but so does bitter (hoppy) beer. Bourbon or martini for me or girl drinks like margaritas, mojitos or vodka and fruit.

Side note re: beer that those of you with young adults will know already, but apparently fewer young adults drink beer. They don’t like it and have moved on to hard seltzers.

Taaka is ass even by the standards of rotgut vodka. Nikolai is 10x better. And of course for only a moderate bump in price you can get Smirnoff which is equal or superior to most “premium” brands.

I love NE style hazy IPAs, so I'm in heaven right now in terms of the craft beer trends. The previous big trend, when sours were all the rage, was not my thing at all.

By the way, as far as Texas goes, nobody holds a candle to Spindletap Brewery in Houston for NE IPAs. Heavy Hands is the shit.

Bit of an exaggeration as far as not liking/drinking beer goes, but the hard seltzer thing has certainly taken hold.

Getting your beer from Aggy and stanning it on a Longhorn message board is…a choice. Let us know if you run into taylor hamm in the taproom bathroom. Or actually dont.

Beat me to it... although I'd add three or four more o's to the end. Spent a good bit of tine in the Isles, and heard the Irish capital referred to by its expats as FOOKEN DOOBLIN many a time...

When I was in the Marine Corps, we would pound anything we could get our hands on. That goes for beer, liquor, and women.
