October 3, 20214 yr goddamnit. all week I was planning on taking the bills, which was the only obvious pick. woke up this morning, and got cute convincing myself to take the saints, and save the bills pick. and then those cunts blew a 4th qtr 11 point lead. enjoy my money. fuck jameis.
October 10, 20214 yr Thanks for the extra scare today, Minnesota. This weekend has been pretty calm sports-wise, so I needed some excitement.
October 12, 20214 yr The Marlboro Bold Flavor Pick of the week goes to Austingirl who picked the Trey Lance led 5.5 point road dog 49ers over the Cardinals.

October 13, 20214 yr This has been an interesting season so far. There have been a bunch of close calls, but almost no big pick upsets. I’m in a couple of pools with $500k+ payouts and a lot of the people in the pools are still alive. Usually by now there have been massive cuts with surprise losses.

Although this week feels like there could be some winnowing. All the good teams are playing other good teams. Bad teams seem to be playing bad teams. We'll see what happens.

There is another guy that runs a ton of pools and squares with $100-$500+ buy ins depending on the pool with a lot of people in them. I’ve won off both and never had any issues with payouts.
October 15, 20214 yr Surprised nobody was on Tampa last night, about half the surviving teams have not used them yet.
October 24, 20214 yr Looking ahead, most entries are going to be running out of good options after next week

October 24, 20214 yr Very true, but everyone still has whoever the Texan’s are playing [emoji23]. They play the Rams next week (which a couple entries have burned) and then have fun if you want to take the Dolphins at home against them in 2 weeks!
October 31, 20214 yr That’s a massive loss by the Bengals with them up by 11 with less than 7 minutes to play. Luckily I didn’t play them anywhere other than a big parlay ML bet which just bent me over.

I had mixed feelings with the Bengals division future I made last week, but oh well.

November 1, 20214 yr I deserve to lose. I changed my pick from the Rams to the Bengals late Saturday night after making my picks up through week 14. Rule 1 of eliminator is to take it 1 week at a time. Enjoy my money.
November 6, 20214 yr Yea it’s getting tight now, this week will be a lot of close games. I’m torn between taking a possible close game or using one of my last good teams.
November 7, 20214 yr We got some people on pucker watch with the Cowboys and Bills…. Glad I decided against them at the last minute but also not feeling great about my pick in KC. This thing may be ending pretty soon. Edited November 7, 20214 yr by Hook1997
November 8, 20214 yr @BigOrange1 Wait our pool says 4 people surviving but only 3 made the correct pick last week? Did someone not make a pick and survive that way?

November 12, 20214 yr So the three of us that lost yesterday have to hope the last remaining person loses Sunday too….
November 12, 20214 yr Correct, he probably needs to play the shittiest team available Sunday if he wants to win with the way the last two weeks have gone. Edited November 12, 20214 yr by Brew

November 14, 20214 yr The Lions might pull this thing out for us. I googled it and a tie counts as a loss so we are all alive still if this happens? Edited November 14, 20214 yr by Hook1997
November 14, 20214 yr 1 minute ago, Brew said: Nobody wanted to win that game. That was a horribly played OT. Our rules state tie advances…. It varies from different pools I guess, cause google said no. That’s all folks, congrats to the winner.

November 14, 20214 yr I just looked it up on ESPN rules and it says ties advance. Hence the Eliminator not Survivor I guess?
November 16, 20214 yr Author wow, a tie advances? that's really fucking lame. anyway, congrats to the winner i suppose. hit me up and i'll get you paid.
August 1, 20223 yr @BigOrange1 You going to run this thing again? I'm making the suggestion that you change the rules that ties = loss.
