We call this pepper sauce and it goes on greens, but it’s also good on cooked to death green beans.

all Louisiana hot sauce was called Tabasco.  Like all soft drinks are cones.  You have Tabasco?  What kind?

My dad was from was from rural East Texas and we refer to this as pepper sauce  as well. We also referred two any red, vinegar based sauce as tobasco

I find the New Orleans pralines are sugary creamy and Mexican ones are chewy.

You are reversed.  Get out of Texas and your prawline in caramelly pecans.  The TexMex prayline ones are creamy sugary pecan goodness. My mom made them with Eagle brand milk and a bit of red pepper and Texas pecans picked by my grandmother.  A texican friend gave her the recipe.  Awesomeness

My wife makes the absolute best pecan pralines (Mexican pecan candy) on the planet.

A Lubbock Chilton is a pretty dang good drink.  Almost every place in the 806 makes a good one. And I'm not talking about the abomination that is a blueberry Chilton.

I would smash that Enchilada Dinner right here, right now.

As I smashed many of them in the 1970s in SW Houston.

That is a blast from the past.  We had a Monterrey House in Tulsa around 18th and Sheridan we’d eat at least once a week.

For $1.95? I’ll eat enchiladas three times a day.

Cheese enchiladas with an over medium egg on top for breakfast

Beef enchiladas for lunch and dinner

I'd be posting in the fat thread within a week

Egg? Who are you, Warren Buffett? We can’t afford eggs on our $1.95 enchiladas!
