I thought about Slim, Bunny, Ziggy, Cutty, and even the Dickensian Aspect pencil dick editor. I hated that guy, but his character was so awesome because I’ve worked with a ton of HR type fuckheads like him throughout my career. The Wire is great, but Deadwood is better. Fight me.
August 24, 20214 yr Can't have a list with almost every character from The Wire and leave off Snoop Pearson. She stepped out of her regular life as a drug dealer and former inmate onto the set. After the show, she ended back in jail for dealing drugs.I heard Michael K. Williams interviewed once and he said the best character in The Wire was the City of Baltimore.

If it came on one of the cable channels that would explain why i never watched it. Same thing with The Soprano's, been meaning to watch it but just haven't. ALSO, never watched an episode of Breaking Bad. I bet i just made some of y'all's heads explode

In the first season, he orders Dan to murder the squarehead girl. In the end, I love the guy despite the fact that it was entirely consistent with his character.
August 25, 20214 yr One of the great episodes of WKRP that never gets talked about was when Herb Tarlek was in the hospital to be examined for a heart condition. He got scared and fled. The rest of the gang tracked him down and found him at a 3-D porn theater. While they were trying to talk him into going back to the hospital, everyone who was wearing 3-D glasses would occasionally all lurch to one side simultaneously. Lol. At the end of the scene, the lights come on, someone shouts “It’s a raid!” and, as the cops come in and the rest of the audience flees, Johnny stands up, digs both hands into his pockets, and throws the contents into the seats on the other side of the aisle. So much greatness.

August 25, 20214 yr Costanza Troy & Abed Too many from the Wire but I’d say Slim Charles, Stringer Bell, Lester Freamon and Chris Partlow Ron Swanson Recent watch - Lance Stater its funny for as much as I liked the US Office, I can’t put one character on this list. probably went too many seasons or I would say Dwight Ron Donald gets an honorable mention
August 25, 20214 yr It seems like most of the great ones have been named but I will throw out a few I think weren’t mentioned yet. Norm Peterson Cliff Clavin Frazier Crane (Cheers version) Lucille Bluth Buster Bluth Latka Gravas Newman Carlton Banks (just for the dance) Alex P Keaton Joffrey Baratheon (I don’t think I have hated a character more which shows how good the kid was that played him). Huggy Bear

I often watch Al’s lecture to the newspaper editor after Al slapped him. One unique set of ethics, for sure.
