You are such a beating. Glad you are so excited about his struggles in an all star game. You foaming at the mouth wanting Shaka to fail as some sort of fucked up Rick Barnes tribute is beyond tired.

I think Hayes is the most impressive

it's not even close. his worst dunk was better than every other dunk in the competition.

hayes back into the contest? best decision of the night. way to go dylan.

and hayes actually had 90% of his foot behind the line. we have probably the most athletic team we've had since ~2009-2011.

would seriously be funny if the hook em mascot was hayes' ex or something.

Wait a second, when Michael Jordan was able to dunk taking off at the free throw line, that was like a big deal, right? Like few athletes can do that?

they just said that sims started shooting FTs with his off hand a couple of weeks ago. yikes.

Yeah can’t expect good ft shooting from him. He’s looking for anything to work

hamm is impressing so far. he's playing very aggressively and very "big". sims meanwhile has been hidden in the background. I'd like to see him be more assertive.

Ya that is ridiculous.

seriously cannot help but notice hamm's presence on the floor. very impressed with a guy who, until now, i wasn't expecting anything from him.

you can see that sims wants to handle the ball on the perimeter, but he's still not ready for that.

roach with the two handed block on hayes!

My takeaway is that we have a lot of freaking athletes and I would hate to have to handle all that length...go ahead pun away

That was 30 years ago.  Now 6ft high schoolers are hitting their heads on the rim.  Evolution is a muthafucka.

If we don't employ the press at least we 25% of the time or more I'm going to be pissed. Especially when/if Jones gets back to 80% or more.

That's what he said.

Evolution takes thousands if not millions of years. The overall population/health/training capacity does improve every year though.

That is why we might not see another Wilt Chamberlain for another 30 years.

American’s grew 3 inches on average from 1896-1996. That’s not millions of years

Yeah, and pro athletes have evolved a lot faster than the general population due to weight/speed training, specialist coaches, diet etc... for example back in the 60’s mlb athletes were smoking cigarettes in the dugout.

They've improved, not evolved.

And tobacco still helps you hit a baseball.

You can’t improve your way 3 inches taller on average.

If your stats about that are real, ie a 3 inch taller on average height of every American from 1895 to 1995 then that must be attributed to better health and fewer childhood sicknesses, which makes some sense. It isn't really correct to call it evolution though since evolution as it relates to species is typically defined to be a genetic change occurring over millions of years.

You pedantic son of a gun.  What part of ending the sentence with muthafucka made you think I was putting forth a treatise on modern day theories of evolution?
