Horrible news.  Brilliant actor.  RIP, MKW.

Guess someone came at the king and did not miss.  RIP

Some of the greatest lines ever from a TV character.

“Man, money ain't got no owners, only spenders”

“Boy, you got me confused with a man who repeats himself."

Sad to read this.  There is too much greatness leaving us way too soon these days.

Would not be surprised if fentanyl was found in his system

This rumor is definitely gaining traction.

Sad shit, R.I.P.

I got the shotgun, you got the briefcase…but it’s all in the game right?

R.I.P. Omar/Chalkie…..

I had no idea he had such a rocky path. Good article to learn a little more about the man behind the roles...

Shit. That sucks. I just saw him the other day wishing PBS a happy 50th. RIP.

One of the all time great characters. Omar was originally supposed to be a bit part but he...um...killed it. Then he became an integral part of the show. The Wire wouldn’t have been the same without him.

Really good read from Wendell Pierce about Williams. RIP. This really sucks.

Pierce is a VERY thoughtful and serious cat.   Anything he says has real credibility with me.

It feels like I was one of 17 people that watched it but I really liked him on Hap and Leonard on Sundance.

RIP Chalkie.

So many times he owned scenes as a character.  Thought he was great.

Sucks that these folks keep succumbing to this tragic mess.  I will never understand it.  Maybe it's better that way...

I loved Michael K Williams. He stole every scene he was a part of. I never watched Boardwalk Empire but this may push me to do that. It's a bit of a trudge and you have to fight through some meandering episodes but he was fantastic in Lovecraft Country.

That would be fun to see it again for the first time.  He did a great job in BE.

Just quoting for emphasis.

Hap and Leonard was an odd little show but very enjoyable. Excellent cast throughout. It appears to be on Netflix right now, so check it out.

Weird show. I enjoyed it. Showed a different side of him. Who was the other lead, T Jane?

Christina Hendricks's boobs and James Purefoy.
