September 11, 20214 yr Third quarter with 13:37 on the clock, so I'm expecting something spectacular to happen. Brock Purdy throws a 6-yard pass to Xavier Henderson for an ISU first down. Guess that's about as spectacular as this game is gonna get.
September 11, 20214 yr Iowa State continues it annual loss to Iowa. Can't let winning get in the way of their #9 ranking and all
September 11, 20214 yr The Big10 brand of football is infectious. Like a virus. A boring, slow virus.

Crowds gets so excited though because everything else in their lives is so fucking boring that they trick you at times into thinking something happened and nope just another 2 yard pass to the TE and run up the middle for no gain.

September 11, 20214 yr This is why we need to gtfo of this conference. Embarrass yourselves against a real rival then get up for the Texas game. Makes sense - all the game day shit was horns down, Texas ruined conference, etc. etc. too bad you forgot about your real in-state rival.

September 12, 20214 yr This was a game decided by defense, turnovers, and special teams. Campbell may have pulled his starting quarterback and others too soon in the 4th quarter. There were lots of backups in when the last touchdown was scored.

September 12, 20214 yr I know people don't like it when I say things like this. But Iowa State upset the Football Gods when they went with those uniforms. They were worth at least two turnovers before the game kicked off. Just an awful idea.
