December 18Dec 18 This is why I love this thread. You'll have 5 straight pages of garish shit, and then someone drops a GOAT level time piece. Is that 37mm? Edited December 18Dec 18 by Reynolds Woodcock

December 18Dec 18 Wife recently surprised me with this for our fifth anniversary. Omega Seamaster 1976 Limited Edition. Released to commemorate Omega's 100-year partnership with the Olympic Games. 1976 was the last year analog mechanical timekeepers were used at the Olympics, before the subsequent shift to electronic quartz. The lacquered tuxedo dial looks so much nicer than what I can catch in a photograph. Great size at 39mm, and pretty slim for a Seamaster at just 11.75mm with the domed crystal. And here's the wrist shot. Edited December 18Dec 18 by satyanash

December 18Dec 18 Speaking of Omega and Montreal '76, I like to consider getting one of these from time to time https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omega_Chrono-Quartz

True. Didn't mean to imply it was a vintage Omega from 1976, rather a modern watch with a 1976 design. They did a limited run of 2,032 pieces in a few different colors, which isn't super "limited" by Omega standards. Omega's done some modern re-releases of vintage Seamaster designs really well, including the Seamaster 1948 and the CK859 from 1939. Edited December 18Dec 18 by satyanash
