Oh, look at Mr. I Never Start a Confrontation is desperate for some attention. No one asked you, cunt. Since you've apparently got your incel brain in a twist, post #2015 you pathetic fuck is a couple of paragraphs about the nuance of his humor. I also never said a word about his politics, just his third grade level approach to a topic. Not surprised you're a fan of a lazy fat fuck that tells obvious jokes for simple people. That you actually think his humor goes over anyone's head is only showing your own room temp IQ. Once more you've proven you're a sad little boy that can't handle anything that disrupts your carefully constructed bubble of (in)security. What are you now, about 40 years old and still can't tell the difference between fact and opinion and still can't handle when someone disagrees with your kindergarten thoughts. March 11Mar 11 Wickline is worse at skit comedy than a good percentage of the hosts. Like non-comedians. Charles Barkley is better at it. Truly baffling.
March 11Mar 11 I think Gaga has lost her edge. Both performances were more goofy than avant-garde. She has very devoted fans, so I think she’ll stick around as a pop star, but she hasn’t had a solo number 1 hit since 2011. She’s a terrific pianist, singer, and actor. I hope she can find the right lane.

While I wholeheartedly agree, it must be a generational thing because she has a fanbase. But she does seem like she won the "audience member gets to be part of the cast" contest every time she shows up.

It's hard to continue to find inspiration and make music as you age and she's still doing it wonderfully.

Maybe times have changed and that accounts for it, but I don't know.

Every time she shows up it's just to sing shittily with a crappy keyboard
March 12Mar 12 WU is best now when they use Jost as a punching bag and Lord Gaga nailed it this week. Wickline may have a fanbase, but she has to pivot more to the mainstream to stick. Sarah Sherman has done this masterfully. She had a very narrow niche with her comedy prior to SNL, but she has adjusted to more conventional comedy while still working in her weird shit from time to time. And now she's my favorite cast member.

And the whole it's "2 ounces too heavy" bit and "It was just too heavy right Pip?" as he walked away with his sunglasses got a real laugh. Also that song in that banged more than both her performances. Felt more like the Ariana Grande one she did "My best friends house" skit. March 19Mar 19 Jack Black has a new movie coming out that should do well. Fine and unavoidable. Lizzo is the lone head scratcher. She was washed before the controversies, but she also has a new project. Lorne is doing a favor for one of his supper club buddies. He likes a comeback story, but I’m not sure she deserves this opportunity. Edited March 19Mar 19 by billfromlaketravis

March 31Mar 31 I hate Morgan Wallen with a passion so haven't watched the episode yet but not sure I can handle Bowen Yang Wallen gangbang
March 31Mar 31 I was a bit let down by this episode too...and if you see my history, when it comes to SNL I'm easy to please. They didn't use her very well IMO.

They used Mikey as a dumb adolescent girl in every sketch. She just won an Oscar, obviously she has more range than that. I think Sweeney did so well because the writers made every joke about her breasts and she played along. Mikey, while attractive, doesn’t have a singular physical trait they can build sketches around. These writers are very, very simple. Every young male host is 90 minutes of how hot he is and the female cast members fawning over him. There’s some pearl clutching conspiracy bullshit about Wallen walking off stage abruptly during the credits. Non issue to me, but you never know with Lorne. Based on his social media, Wallen had a plane to catch. I believe he’s working on his sobriety, so he likely wanted no part of the SNL after party.
March 31Mar 31 apparently he had to flee for "god's country" 😄 im pretty sure he's exactly who he appears to be. Edited March 31Mar 31 by mchookem

We watched the cold open and a few minutes of the very first sketch before FF'ing to Weekend Update and then the Please Don't Destroy video. Appears we didn't miss all that much this week.
March 31Mar 31 He walks directly into the camera as soon as the band starts playing and then immediately posts a picture of his private jet captioned “get me to God’s country”. Pearl clutching conspiracy theory you never know with Lorne he had a plane to catch lol come on dude. Sure it doesn’t matter at all but if you make a habit out of being stupid it becomes who you are.

Plus NYC is amazing and God's Country too, in it's own way. Though $900+ orchestra seats to see Denzel as Othello right now doesn't feel very heavenly tbh.
March 31Mar 31 Was a fan of Anora, so sat down to watch it for Mikey, and was definitely disappointed in the whole damn episode. Marcello has charisma, but they got him all over the place flailing his arms like an inflatable tube man. The sketches were all pretty weak, but I thoroughly enjoyed Weekend update, both of them seemed to be super sharp. Mikey didn't seem to get much of a chance to have fun, but finding out she was home schooled gets me wondering just how much comedy charisma she really has. Haven't seen her in a light-hearted role yet; only seen Scream, Once upon a time..., and Anora. Wallen got an insta-skip from me. Seems to be an all-around class act, I'm really surprised to hear he's a shithead in public and on social media, at his 31 years of age. /s

Not surprised he hated NYC. Most small town people I know hate big cities. People are mad about him walking off set and asking why he went on the show in the first place. It's called contract obligations. He probably got booked and had no choice. Plus, money talks.

April 1Apr 1 I hate that the goodnight/credits “controversies” have become a thing. It was all started with Chappelle doing absolutely nothing wrong and jumping on stage last year. Reddit body language experts chasing clout made a big deal out of nothing, and now it’s probably the second most closely watched part of the show behind the monologue. Bravo to SNL’s social media team if they played a part in holding people’s attention after Weekend Update. Edited April 1Apr 1 by billfromlaketravis

Bravo to SNL’s social media team if they played a part in holding people’s attention after Weekend Update. The fact that this is "news" and headline worthy is just a win for Morgan Wallen's fame and whatever, which is stupid. Maybe more stupid is the guy who went on AGT or X factor or whatever Mass produced, mainstream America TV Reality show in Hollywood, California, to whore himself out and get famous is now too legit 2 quit for NYC. NYC is the best city in the world, or one of. It's all brand curation and narrative, I guess. Pop Star: Country boi edition.

April 1Apr 1 Sounds more like people took a petty simple comment, made something huge out of a non story and now "both side-ism" is turned to 11. He may hate New York. So fucking what. I know a ton of people who've all hated most of the north east just like they hate all of us country yokels in middle america. They got their panties in a twist cause he "ran away" and his fans/people who don't give a shit about the big city, got triggered and fired back. It was most likely a pretty inane comment that people blew up for no reason.
April 1Apr 1 Not that I really care but apparently he refused to participate in sketches too, which is why Jonas made a random appearance https://pagesix.com/2025/04/01/entertainment/morgan-wallen-refused-to-do-snl-sketch-joe-jonas-stepped-in/ Doesn't seem like good business to show up and do the barest minimum, but who cares it was a pretty weak episode anyways
April 2Apr 2 SNL’s media team has to be behind this bullshit to again keep viewers engaged through the end of the show. Wallen benefits because it perpetuates his bad boy of country bullshit street cred. Kenan’s interview read like a guy that really didn’t have a problem with Wallen, but got put up to a sound bite. The sketch is he was asked to appear was weird, not very funny, and honestly works better with Jonas. It’s OK to say no to things.
April 2Apr 2 A country singer doing performative bullshit to throw red meat to his base? No fucking way.
