May 9, 20223 yr solid field for the Byron Nelson this week. word must have gotten out after last year's event that TPC Craig Ranch is a good course and this event is worth playing in. finally. this event has sucked ever since Byron died (and they reined in the Pavillion). oh, and it sold out. And I'd imagine Bryson isn't playing because he's still injured.

May 10, 20223 yr It’s kind of funny that an Ace adds pressure to your round. Nobody wants to say they fired up an 87 when they tell that story. Two Aces? You don’t want to be the guy that can’t break par if you do that haha

Spieth and Scottie are probably enough to get a sell out this year, but that’s a better field than they’ve had in a while.
May 10, 20223 yr How bout this one:Justin Leonard is in the field, making his first PGA Tour start since the Texas Open five years ago. Leonard turns 50 next month and will be eligible for the PGA Tour Champions.

I can forgive the tempers while in competition. IRL, I think I am a pretty laid back likable guy. You stick me in a race car with the competitive juices flowing and it’s Jekyll and Hyde. hes a classless jerk, this has been well established since his early years

May 12, 20223 yr Who is the worse spokesperson, Norman or Phil?Gonna have to give it up to Norman on this one. Holy shit, what a dumbass.
May 12, 20223 yr If anyone knows how to fall on his face and collapse in a pile of his own shit, it's Greg "6 stroke lead to a 5 stroke loss at the fucking Masters" Norman. Damn sting ray took the wrong Aussie from us.
May 12, 20223 yr meanwhile, Phil has to be the happiest guy in golf…at least for a few days while this is in the news cycle
May 12, 20223 yr 1. Fuck greg Norman, never liked that douche. I hope someone punches him in the nuts. And fuck the Saudis. 2. Dufner is still on tour ??? Sponsor’s exemption ?

May 12, 20223 yr I was wondering about ol' Dufner the other day. The last I'd seen from him, he was falling asleep in an elementary school.

May 13, 20223 yr Alan Shipnuck’s book, “Phil” gets released next week. If you recall, this was the source of Mickelson’s Saudi comments. For a good preview, listen to No Laying Up’s podcast interview with the author. Lots of great stories.
May 13, 20223 yr Shooting a 68 with a triple bogey is amazing. Scottie still in this tournament at -9 after two rounds... Hossler -10 Spieth -12
