Especially since.... Williamson County

Chiefs will now have to waive him in order to sign him once they need WRs for a Super Bowl run.

What a fucking idiot

PS… if you live in Texas and you find yourself in a physical altercation, NEVER choke someone, go for their throat, etc. Ever. Doesn’t matter if you do it for half a second. It is an automatic no questions asked felony. Maybe you get it dismissed or dropped far down the road but if you do that to someone you will be arrested and charged with the felony.

And actually the same applies even if you just cover someone’s mouth to shut them up for example. Don’t ever ever do that in an argument

That was definitely an asterisk for me.

Not saying he didn't do anything but curious to know more.

running a stop sign, or worst can get a black man executed up there

Everyone is sober this morning. Whatever the story was last night, it’s different this morning. You can be sure.

Don’t do this. We have no idea what happened.

Why tf was he hanging out in Georgetown?

Regardless, the Chiefs are one of the teams that will slap him on the wrist and happily let him back on the field. They've proven that over and over with other guys.

Still, what a shithead if true

When she's going off and saying all kinds of noise it's best to walk away. No matter how much you want her to shut up you can't throttle her.

One of the most important lessons growing up is no matter how wrong a woman is, you instantly lose the argument as soon as you get upset and start yelling, or in these idiots cases start hitting.

You want to live with a woman you need to learn how to pick your battles and when to walk away and wait for a better time. There's gonna be times when they're being unreasonable and there's just no changing that in the moment. It's just the way it is.

What if it's someone else that saw them and called it in. Cops are going to take someone and it's more often than not going to be the guy.

That #1 jersey number is a goddamn curse.

Bassett is a partner at Minton, I'm not gonna question strategy, but that seems an odd statement to make.

what a dumb m'fer. Seems to be what the Chiefs prioritize in the WR position.

I don't understand why NFL players get married and then find themselves in these kinds of situations. You have the money to own a lot of things and fuck a different bitch every day. Why get tied down to just one who you can't easily get rid of without emotional, reputational, and/or monetary damage?

Why odd? If it's true, wouldn't an attorney want to get that context out before speculation (see the last two pages of this thread) gets entirely out of hand?

Agree with this approach 100%, but why limit it solely to NFL players?

I don't know, it feels like public litigation.  I have zero doubt they were sloppy, so my head-tilt is worth nothing.

Yeah, that's a life lesson (almost) all of us eventually learn: It's the way it is because they've got most of the money and all of the pussy. Simple as that.

hopefully he invested in security cameras and has video of the whole situation

Like Lavar Ball told his youngest son, “you’ll never meet a good woman during NBA career” same applies to Worthy

Every promising athlete needs to study Derek Jeter’s career. Single the entire time he played, only dated/fucked other hot celebrities, retired and then settled down and started a family. Zero arrests, scandals or controversy in the basically 20 years he played.

I wonder if this happened or not. She cheated, and he demanded her to leave his premises. He could've easily choked her or she could've lied to be petty to him for calling her a hoe or some bullshit insult like that. Women 100% posses the power to do shit like that too. So, we don't know what happened until more information is discovered.

I should have said pro athletes who make a lot of money.

Don't think he's married.  Did one of his baby mommas get mad?  But regardless, you have total control of your choices in life.  And the consequences.

We don't know that she cheated for that matter. We dont know shit really. Well, other than the fact there were likely two dumbasses involved.

Yeah, my understanding is that you're better off, legally, punching someone in the face.  Which is bizarre, because choking someone out to end the threat is generally a much better option than breaking their nose or jaw and them hitting the back of their head on a parking lot.

She is his fiancé. I remember seeing him propose to her and thinking that this probably won't end well.

It’s absolutely correct. Punching someone in the face may or may not result in a felony charge. Restricting their air intake in anyway is a 100% guaranteed 3rd degree felony at minimum.

She's a US track & field star

Sucks for both of them that it's going this bad, this soon.  Or at all.
