Didn’t both Texas and Georgia have a strong showing in SB.

He may look like some sort of woodland creature, but fickell brought them ready to play

So, Cincy pistol-whips dohmers in their own place.

How much, "But that loss at home to a gimmick-offense-that-we-can't-cover doesn't matter! We have to be in the CFP!" crying will happen now?  Lulz.

tirico is fucking spot on - cincy has a chance to make life uncomfortable for the bowl cigars this season

12 or 16 doesn't matter

playoffs kill the bowl system

I think so. But I don't remember it being like this. And it's Cincinnati.

I have Cincinnati family and love Skyline Chili I refuse to apologize.

It was a game plan handcrafted in Hell by Satan himself, and its sole purpose is to get the Fireball of Hades burning once again in the land of Touchdown Jesus.

Mission Accomplished.

We need at least 8 teams. No one wants to play this Cincy team. Short of Bama or Georgia they'd fit in just fine with anyone on a neutral field.

it's not chili

Assuming they go undefeated, Cincy may have just punched their ticket to the CFP.

Nah. They probably need 2/3 of tOSU, Oregon, Texas/OU to pick up 2 losses. They likely aren't getting in over a 1 loss P5 champ.

But that's very possible.

Ahem. If BYU wins out (still a big if), we will have a better resume. Cinci will have beat ND and Indiana. BYU will have beat 5 P12 teams including ranked Utah, ranked ASU, and USC; will have beat Virginia, possibly ranked Baylor, Boise State, and some others.

Yeah that's a real murderer's row.

Cincy's future hinges a lot on what ND does.  I'm not convinced ND is that strong.  Beat FSU who fucking sucks.  Purdue not much better.  Wisconsin...late they did it late and Wiscy is having their worst start to a season since like the early aughts.  Etc....

Cincy is gonna be cheering for Notre Dame the rest of the year. They need this win to look as good as possible.

Cincy has been more impressive than OU.

Compared to Cinci's schedule it is and that's the point: BYU schedule > Cinci schedule.

Yeah, you look great when you hand yourself every win down the stretch.

SoS doesn't matter if you don't win out. And the P12 is pretty demonstrably terrible so far.

You struggled with USF. USF is dogshit. The only reason they are sort of hanging with SMU right now is because SMU is down its most important skill position player.

Cincy is going to obliterate that team.

We could easily stumble to a 10 or 11 win season.  The SC/LSJU are down and the ACC is a joke.

IF both BYU and Cincy win out and go undefeated, then I think BYU should be ranked higher than Cincy. Cincy had a nice win today, no doubt, but BYU's schedule is significantly tougher. Are you arguing Cincy has a tougher schedule?

Re: USF: Struggled? Nah. It was 28-6 at the half and BYU let their foot off the gas. We let them back in and didn't crush them, but we took care of business. Kalani isn't really a style points kind of guy (but maybe he should be). His MO is to just grind it out down the stretch, run out the clock, protect the lead, and get the win.

No I'm arguing that Cincy is better than you regardless because I'm not retarded and have eyes.

Nice "foot off the gas" excuse, though. That should really benefit you against actual competition.
