There's some muledick in the air tonight.

I have a close friend who's a Raiders fan so I kind of root for them vicariously.

But ultimately I'm fairly indifferent. Would mainly like to see good football.

there will be some college games starting Thursday

Yeah - fuck the NFL!

While I prefer college football (due to the passion of the fans and the players), the NFL tends to have closer games.

Am I the only one rooting for Derek Carr?

nah, I like him too. dude has been through some shit.

In terms of playing the game of football - the NFL is a much better product.

That doesn't make it more entertaining, necessarily.

there seems to be more scoring this year, but in the past 5 or 6 seasons it seemed like games with seven to ten field goals and one or two TDs

now you've done it

I really haven't. If you think the quality of play in college is better you're a moron.

Again - that doesn't make it more exciting or compelling. There are weekends where I barely tune in to the NFL. Not sure when the last time I didn't watch at least one game on a Saturday was.

This is absolutely true. The amateurism (well guess that ain't officially true anymore lol) of college ball makes for some crazy games. There's so much more emotion. Sometimes watching NFL games literally feels like a chess match especially with the amount of coordinators sitting up in the booth (like even the DCs which I always feel like is weird).

Did they announce Sam Ehlinger is starting for the Colts next week?

He didn't say MY hands were busy.

Y’all rang? Lol. Go Raiders! Let’s have another late game comeback! Raiders!

for the record, I agree with you, but that sort of post always brings out the people willing to shout your ear off about the "purity" of college sports, but I suppose that line of argument should be well about dead in this day

What a fucking play... wow.

I mean that's one of the best plays I've seen all weekend. May have saved the game.

Carr is having his best year since his MVP like third season before he broke his leg. He’s rollin. So underrated.

the amount of Bama players making plays in the league is sickening.

Man. Can't be that predictable.

SD defense stepped it up.

Yeah. Oakland needs to step it up on D on this drive.

seemed like he had a running lane, as slim as it was

Maybe they should relegate the Lions and move Bama up.

big 4th down pick up.  balls.

99% of the Cowboys thread calls McCarthy a “fat fucking potato” for going for it there. 🤷🏼‍♂️

To be fair, he is a potato. A really big potato.

Herbert is really good. I don’t see how Raiders can pull off a win. Been in the Chargers rear view mirror the whole game.

we need Bijan to end up on this team

That 4&2 call this drive changed the game.

Never realized how little Ekeler is.

He somehow gets away with 5'10" on Google and the NFL site. Found a draft scout that had him at 5' 7.5".  That seems much more accurate.
