Rougie pinch hitting?

Might as well start the offseason thread.

No shit.  $200 million payroll doesn't buy what it used to.

This seems like a very quick trigger by Cora.

Maybe. You don't want Stanton tying it up this early, though.

I would have tried to let him get through but what the fuck do I know.

Oh my what a fuck up.

Did I hear that right? Was Arod talking about  Joey Gallo being the landing strip?

Yes. Lol. AL walks leader that can jack one 450 at any given moment.

Sure he's had a bad 2nd half but he's still Gallo...

Vasgersian keeps saying it would have been 2nd and 3rd but it would have been runners on the corners.

Their pen just isn’t that deep though.  Brasier particularly isn’t that good.

Shut your whore mouth about Brasier.

I agree. Ended up working out okay for now.

Is it good when you’re the third base coach on a team that leads the league in outs at the plate?

I'd guess it's pretty good when you're a third base coach of an MLB team?

Certainly better than living in South Texas.

Gallo's 0 for 3 but his 2nd AB would have scored Judge from 3rd.

If that dude isn't fired...

Better to be lucky than good I guess.

The guy's had a rough year and I'm not just talking about baseball wise.  How about you don't badmouth him.

Good point by Arod (he said begrudgingly).  Tons of balls hit in that corner bounce over the short fence which wouldn't have scored the run.

The pissed off Stanton shots are great. I think he's going to strangle that 3B coach.

Think he was pissed off because that's a homer just about anywhere else.

I feel a Yankees rally coming.

Not if their 3B coach has anything to say about it.

This inning has a do or die feel to it for some reason.

Probably because you have 8 outs left in a sudden death tiebreaker.

$325 million just doesn’t buy what it used to.  LOL at Cole.  He’s basically what the Astros have with Luis Garcia at this point.

Wonder if the Yankees clean house after this or if Boone is the sacrificial lamb. They’ve had some great teams but have come up short in the post-season and that’s what counts for a club like them.

If the worst case scenario happens, at least you have a rich culture of NYY fans in the Brownsville area to lean on for support.
