the olds are finger banging each other over a player that played before I was born....yay [emoji12]

Does it piss you off when people talk about what a bad ass Earl was at UT? Jesus we can argue over literally anything these days.

yea, because it just means we havent been relevant in that long and our current players suck.

You know Bama, Ohio State and Georgia fans talk about their old players too, right?

Sure, it's frustrating that our last decade has been a shitpile, and it's led to more wallowing in nostalgia than many programs, but there's always space in college football for tradition and olds remembering the greats.

And what better place than specifically in the 2022 recruiting thread, right?! 😜

If he can catch the ball, he's going to be a dangerous weapon. So much speed in the top 5 guys now. Worthy, Neyor, Whittington, Hall, and Thompson. If Ewers can provide consistency at QB, then this offense is going to score a lot of points, giving the OL plenty of reps and hopefully keeping the defense off the field or at least forcing the other team to have to match us score for score.

Not if the offense is quick strike all the time. Sark needs to learn how to manage the clock especially because the defense is subpar and is more likely to break leading to blown leads and close finishes.

The kid with the blonde hair who came in 3rd will probably go to Kansas State and have a 3 TD game against us in 2023.

If only we had a good RB.

An outstanding RB isn't enough to rely upon, with a porous OL and an opponent that knows we're going to run.

Barry Sanders might be the only RB I've ever seen that could escape three rushers in the backfield at the time of the handoff.

Bijan Robinson averaged 5.8 YPC, Roschon Johnson averaged 5.9 YPC, and Keilan Robinson averaged 7.2 YPC with last seasons abortion of a line. The line will be better this season. I am relatively confident that we should be able to run the ball very effectively in all but a couple of games this season.

Sorry but disagree.

Fuck the complimentary shit and ball control BS. In this league, I've watched enough games that, whenever you think you should not score as much/ quick, 1 you shouldn't be a UT coach and 2, you should double down in the other direction. Points over everything.

It should be like Madden/ NCAA Football. Score at all costs, no matter how fast, unless it's at the end of a half and you can run out almost all of the clock right before scoring.

2.1 m/s. Under the allowable limit.

Tom Herman, if he were still our coach, would be working around the clock designing plays that result in a pass to a stationary Brenen Thompson.

I don’t think he coaches in essay form

Don’t wait until you’re old like me. It’s never too early to get a jumpstart on your nitpicking

Tom Herman, if he were still our coach, would be working with whomever is our Defensive Coordinator on how to stop ultrafast Oklahoma State receiver Brenen Thompson.

Wish he and the 4a champ could have raced each other in the 100 and 200. Neither one was pushed too hard. Wonder how fast they could have gone by pushing each other.

Delayed corner blitz from 20 yards out! Duh! 1.6 percent of the time it works every time!

Same for 5a. Wasn’t much faster, but also pretty
much coasted at the end
