November 29Nov 29 Man I'm glad we won but sark really needs to hire playcallers. We would be IN the playoffs if not for some of his fuckups earlier in the season. His team's ceiling is high, but so is his variance

November 29Nov 29 So Sark owns OU and aggy. Has a problem against Kirby and fOSU. I can live with that if the needle is pointing up. fOSU is off our schedule hopefully forever after next year. We could get a slight respite from Georgia in 2026. 13-3 in the SEC is pretty damn good. I think he’s our guy unless gets McVay gets bored in the NFL (kidding).

Maybe some offseason visits to certain teams (likely pro) are in order. But to this game, he absolutely nailed 2 calls that resulted in TDs. The TE run and the Arch QB run. Couldn't have been called at better times

I have sympathy for everyone dealing with struggles. But my patience wears thin when people continuously fuck up time and again and don’t accept responsibility for it. I think it’s 💯 possible to eat better, exercise, stop smoking, and stop drinking and stop using drugs. People do it every day. Sobriety is hard. But most of us don’t completely blow up our shit routinely every year. I pray for those people, but it’s ok and totally acceptable and understandable to get frustrated and to lose sympathy for people who cannot get out of their own way, routinely. I never thought I would see Robert Downey Jr survive where he was in the 90’s. But he has. And I will always try to be there for people and care for them and love them: but if someone is hell bent on destroying themselves sometimes it’s best to get out of their way. Lots of damage can be done and many addicts are very selfish to a degree. most of us committed to sobriety have our struggles. We fight hard, But most of us don’t fucking implode routinely. And leave a massive mess in our wake. On the regular. It is hard to endorse that kind of behavior even if I understand it. And it’s totally ok to be pissed, frustrated and at wit’s end of people who routinely don’t avail themselves of the resources at their disposal and choose the shit path every fucking time. This is way, way, way too deep, too insightful and too filled with wisdom to be understood let alone embraced by the Surlytians, especially since 99% of them are drunk right now on whiskey and aggy tears.

With a 9 game conference schedule we'll have 4-5 marquee opponents every year, plus more in the playoffs if we make it. I'd rather play OSU in the playoffs than in August. There's never been more premier matchups than there are now. The NFL exists if you want parity every single week.

November 29Nov 29 Like I said on the game thread, the 4-5 best plays in the first half were run plays, Wisner specifically and some scrambles. Sark kept going to the screen and short passing game and it was shit. He came out in the second half and ran the fucking ball. He took what they gave him and his team responded and smashed those goobers in the mouth. I’ve ridden his ass all year and I’m still not sure but tonight he balled out like we needed him too. serious respect sark. You earned it tonight.

They’re about at their ceiling with Riley. The key is to schedule name teams that usually finish at the back end of the CFP top 25. The committees and ESPN always quote a team’s record against the CFP top 25. But we’re scheduled through 2032 so we’re just spinning our wheels discussing it.
November 29Nov 29 Great argument from Sark. “you say we shouldn’t get in because we lost to Florida. Well the team that played for the national championship last year lost to Northern Illinois at home”

November 29Nov 29 I’ll chalk the UF game up to fluke. LSU fan was right, Florida plays out of their minds once a year. Unfortunately we caught it, and it was a gut shot. If those stubborn bastards fire Napier sooner, maybe it’s a different result. Texas should be tampering the shit out Baugh and Dallas Wilson.
November 29Nov 29 I’ll add Patricia getting another job to 2026 wish list. Having a good NFL DC with NFL HC experience is a cheat code in college football. And he’s just going to have another year to install his defense. If he’s still there, I think Texas is going to be a home dog.
November 29Nov 29 The committee liked us all year except after the Georgia game. We have some fans in there. Even after that loss to Florida we still had fans in there. If SofS matters as it should we have the most compelling argument. Aggy played really no one save ND. Hope Bama loses tomorrow. There is a lot of hate in that game. That happens we should make it in??? Idk? 🤷🏻♀️ regardless we did what we needed to do in the second half. And won impressively. Not on a flat note. With drama and flare. And nothing competing with us owning the ratings tonite. I can still be hella disappointed as fuck in Sark and pissed for unnecessary self inflicted offseason bullshit and regular season shit… but…. I am too happy we won. We needed this. We all needed this after a mostly unwatchable delete the recording kind of season. Hook’em 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🔥🔥🔥🔥 Edited November 29Nov 29 by Nicole44

November 29Nov 29 Not saying he’s perfect, but given our decade of humiliation, he’s been great One of these is not like the other 2.
