This lazy ass pre-wrote his story, and when he actually talked to the kid, he was going to ask leading questions to make it match/fit what he’d already written (and perhaps make a couple edits to add some tidbits from the call). It somehow “went to press” prematurely (I don’t know if it was a tweet or a $9.95 article), but it happened with the wrong kid, a media-savvy Cali-bound QB who called him on his bullshit. Beautiful.

"Hey I may have lied and fabricated a quote, but it is you who are making me look bad" is probably not the way you want to go, Yancy Porter, Recruiting Analyst for Ole Miss 247, also a known liar and fabricator of quotes from recruits.

Sounds like he ghost writes lost visitor stories on Texags.

Holy fuck that's embarrassing! Best part is him begging the kid to take that down, fucking 995ers man

Who is the 3rd party stringer he’s throwing under the bus here?   Oh, right, they don’t exist either.

Pointing out the misspelling of "judgment" might seem a bit pedantic. But I will anyway.

The guy is named Yancy? Anyone else reminded of this episode of Futurama?

Of course that episode went on a little something like below and made me shed grown man tears.

Come on. “Spoke to” and “here’s a quote from him” are such nebulous phrases

Taylor Hamm. He claims he got the quote in the bathroom.

He’s getting fired again, isn’t he?

Anyone seen his kids lately? We know he hasn’t.

I'm sure that bs is pretty routine for 9.95 "inside scoop" articles. They count on recruits not having access to their content.

if Yancy gets fired he can get the job writing the Texags post game "thank you post from opposing fan".  it seems to be right up his alley.
