2021 - 2022 Dallas Mavericks: The Vibes are Immaculate

This popped up in my Youtube feed, no idea if it's legit. If it is, douchey kid invited some of his douchey friends late in the game when I suspect some nearby folk had left early. One of them touched Paul's mom. Original douchey kid apologized on Instagram then deleted it, and reports are that he was being a little shit the whole game towards the Suns bench and family members. Fuck all these little shits. If this is true Paul is justified in being upset, but made it way more than it was because his little bitchass was punked on the court.

TL;DR: Mavs fan and friends are shits; Paul is a bitchass.

Note: Still not confirmed if this is legit.

I doubt Paul saw what happened. He's probably reacting to whatever his family relayed to him.  So to say he's overreacting isn't taking into account that his family probably amplified whatever they endured.

Notice how Paul says "but fans are allowed...". Bitch you literally saw the dude getting escorted from the arena. Nothing was allowed.

Chris Paul telling the teenage kid "I'll see you later" reminded me of Real Bros of Simi Valley when he's about to fight the baby. Where exactly is Chris Paul gonna see him again? The mall?

Chris Paul is a bitch.  always has been.  Mavs in 6.

Unwanted hugs and talking smack?  This is why Barkley was very "hmmm. I'm gonna wait until I see the details...".  This is a big nothing burger.  Bitch Paul gonna Bitch Paul

he's overreacting because he's a bitch that fouled out and wanted to gin up some controversy without knowing the details.  fuck him.

Lmao. This is why I waited to see what really came out. Nothing to see here at all. Some douches gave an unwanted hug. And the Paul family tried to sell it for something way worse knowing the media would report it without verifying any of it. Escort them out, that's fine.

Never ever feel sorry for Chris Paul. He's a little piece of shit that has been a douchebag his whole career.

I've had a lot of respect for CP3 over the years, but this is pure bitchassedness. The kids were little shits and got dealt with as they should have. "Laid hands" implies violence, not a factor here. Just a guy who got dominated and fouled out looking for fake motivation. Takes a weak mind to need this as the number one overall seed. I hope we close it out in 6.

I admit I haven't followed closely during the regular season until late. Have we been shooting 3s like this all season or has it just been a crazy run? Curious if this is sustainable or a fluke.

Unwanted hug is not threatening but if someone has been telling nonsense trying to get a reaction it of you all game you probably are not going to react well.

how old is this kid? he looked like a high schooler.  an obviously inebriated 18 year old with his aunt/mom?  i'm not buying it.  special needs kids can come across as inebriated.  i have a friend who was in a car accident and ended up with brain damage.  went from top 10 in his class to having to rely on a minder to get around.  when we went out to restaurants and theaters the staff often thought he was drunk.

What happened when he got drunk?

IMO, we have 4 3point specialist type of guys(not including Luka) that can be hot.  DFS, Maxi, Bullock, and Bertans.  we need at least 2 to be "on" to be competitive. 3 on means we are likely to win. 4 and it's church.

we have had 3-4 on IMO most of the playoffs.  probably unsustainable, but ride or die!

She does the same shit.  A lot of player moms are annoying.

No way, I am sure Chris Paul's mom never says anything to refs or responds to people heckling her 35 year old professional basketball player son.  I don't have any data to support this but neither did Chris Paul.

he wasn't allowed to drink after it.  even at his wedding.

it's been pretty great having everyone alternate being clutch from deep.

Bertans is an absolutely amazing bench guy.  He knows he has one fucking job and has zero hesitation pulling the trigger from the moment he steps on the floor.

This is your second time trying to excuse this kid as "neurodiverse" (I hate that term but it's the best I can come up with here). Stop it. It's insulting to people who really do have challenges to overcome. This kid was making eye contact and responding to social cues in the brief video clips shown. Occam's razor suggests that he's a typical privileged highland park douche who acted like a typical privileged highland park douche.

I miss the good old days when typical privileged highland park douches were just frat guys who overrated burger house.

i'm trying to make sense of this logically.  i'm not making excuses for him.  it didn't go down how anyone thought or how you apparently want to think it happened. it went from this kid was shoving, pushing, and laying hands on cp3's wife (from cp3's words), to he was giving her an unwanted hug (the mavericks), to now he was drunk (a 17 year old kid drunk at a mavs game??) and persistently tapping her on the shoulder and wishing her a happy mother's day (and that's from cp3's own mom).

i've been around people affected by mental illness.  the way he acted in that first video immediately struck me as familiar.  the pattern of behavior persistence and not taking social cues followed by confusion is also very familiar.  and when we out with my friend people always thought he was drunk.

maybe there's nothing to it, maybe he's just a kid being an idiot.  but there are several things here that point to it being a possibility there's something deeper.

while that may be true, we really don't know what actually happened, except for the one kid tapping Chris Paul's mom on the shoulder.  CP's mom said she asked him to stop and he didn't. If that was the extent of the physical altercation security did the right thing. but really it isn't a huge deal.

Occams Razor suggests that the few rows(as well as the rest of the arena) behind the Suns bench were heckling the shit out of CP3 as he was sucking ass and fouling out and he typically went bitch mode.

Is it really a mode if you are a bitch all of the time?

I can tell you with a high degree of certainty that he wouldn't be the first ever.

great start but sometimes was have some really stupid possessions.  Brunson 15 foot baseline fadeaway not really what we are looking for.

booker is already preparing to fall before he gets touched.

the NBA needs to ramp up the flop warnings early next season(and yes this means Mavs also).  there are more guys hitting the deck in an NBA game than in an NHL game where there is real actual hitting while playing on 1/8th wide skates.  It's embarrassing.

and as I type... another flop from booker-he's looking to top Harden.

agree but he's so bad on D and not quick that I think he's told to just go and take the coin flip.
