i thought it was going to be about how he owned or worse, worked at, a Halloween haunted house on some feeder road outside of Dallas. Glad to see it was not!

I was actually think about what happened to him last night when I was watching Hicks playing for AZ. Glad he’s doing well.

I always hated (for his sake) that Jeffcoat didn't make it big after Texas.

Glad he has a good father to be his role model and mentor. Sounds like that has made a huge difference in his adult life.

"Tweener" was the term used by JJ, I believe. Another great player from Texas that shoulda coulda woulda

Article is titled: THE EMERGENCE OF JACKSON JEFFCOAT

There certainly were rumors something was emerging from JJ while he was here…

Good luck to him, always seemed like a great kid/guy. Glad to hear he’s found success and happiness.

Didn't he have an injury that held him back at the end of his UT career, and also resulted in him not being drafted?  Pectoral tear?  Maybe even more than once?

He was a consensus All American at Texas.

My comment is directed towards his lack of opportunity coming out of Texas...

I cant find anything, but what is his salary playing in the CFL?  I see the normal sportrac.com and a few others but only NFL is mentioned.  Maybe the CFL doesnt disclose salaries.

I thought it was Hicks that tore his titty.

Yes, with the Skins.

Other former Horns who tore pectorals in Washington were Keenan Robinson and Orakpo (who had a pec tear at Texas).  At the time, I thought that was beyond coincidence.  But, I couldn’t identify any other Skins player with that injury in that timeframe.

So, I wonder if it was a carryover from training while at Texas … 🤔
