What the fuck is Connor Williams doing there?   Looking around for people after he loooked at the ball on the ground instead of getting on the ball.   Fucking idiot

Just go down lamb. I don’t want any turnovers trying to make a play please

About that …

They're bringing safeties up on 1st down, and dropping them deep on 2nd down

Run the fucking ball on 2nd down

Backup QBs beyond being less talented physically often simply suck at reading defenses, slowing the game down and checking into the right play.

Hart to fault him if nobody yelled "ball". It all happened behind him.

Well that’s probably it. Can’t be down 0-2 in the turnover margin with a stumped offense abs run game and win

Eventually the Vikings have to break some plays. Defense done more than enough tonight to help other than a. Turnover itself.

I hear ya, but all he's got to do is look across the LOS and say "Kill, kill..."

You don't have to be a 10 year veteran

how do you not call holding there?

Edit - looks like the other ref threw it.

It's actually very easy to fault him. What is he accomplishing by not getting on the ball?

Of course the finality call a holding when it’ll be declined anyways.

How about you call it when it matters.

Calm down, cowboy.

Kazee once again went for a hit instead of the ball or he picks it off.

But Bey they called holding! Now do it on a play after they’ve made a big gain.

If nobody yells ball, it happens behind you and you are busy looking for somebody to block, you are not looking at the ground.  Now obviously who knows what was said but yea....looking at the ground isn't your chief responsibility there.

But the ball was clearly in his field of vision, right? It's not like he needed to turn to get sight of it.

Actually, it's easy to fault him for a great many things.

an OL should always assume a ball on the ground is a fumble.  that said, I can't blame him much.  it was a weird play.

Yeah yeah. We all know how holding work. They almost never call it when it’s important. Only when it doesn’t matter anymore.

That time looks like they did. Would like to see more but I’m being greedy.

Once it’s touched by the Vikings, Wilson can do whatever he wants, he can’t fumble at that point. Old school bizarre NFL rule

He tried but minnesota guys smartly shielded him

How?  It came from behind and rolled by him on the ground.  In football staring at your navel isn't a recipe for success.  You don't look at the ground as an offensive lineman unless you have good reason to and if your eyes are upfield you don't see the space directly under or even a yard or two in front of your feet.

This is a problem when a QB is so inconsistent.  When it hits a receiver in the hands they're too surprised to make the catch.

Sarcasm aside that was a pathetic effort by CD

Wow that’s roughing the passer?

Jesus Christ.

Knew the refs would find s way. Now they’re going to get more points based on that alone.
