Even if everything the FBI and admin is saying is one hundred percent true— this group has been releasing poorly doctored images and telling blatant falsehoods for years over things far less important. That’s indisputable. The environment of skepticism and conspiracy mongering and disbelief is entirely of their own making.

Almost like there is a millennia old fable about how no one will believe you if you tell lies too many times.

Last week someone almost got canceled for saying:

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them, and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”

This week ... totally different response from the MAGA gang.

Yeah, solidly below the Mendoza line.

The politician who cried Fox?

This has a simple solution. Someone worth a fuck with the platform to do so…just ask for the agent who discovered the casings to release his bodycam footage immediately.

When they refuse/fail to do so, there’s the answer.

You know the answer.   "We cant release that out of fear for the officer's safety"

There's an unfortunate trend of news outlets repeating news from another outlet and presenting it as their own reporting. It gives the appearance of a single source being authoritative. It was the same mechanism used to incite the Jan6 riot, since everyone was reposting the same disinformation it just HAD to be correct (if you're a useful idiot)

Also DNS logs and prague nonsense.

Between the essential cheapness of military surplus after the war, and inflation, I don't doubt it.
I believe Oswald purchased that Mannlicher-Carcano 20 years after for like $13.  I've seen old ads with similar ridiculous pricing for Moisins etc.

My dad bought a “sporterized” Moisin for like $10 back in the day. I still have it but we never shoot it because it kicks like a mule and last time I looked ammo was insane.

Yeah, hard to believe that someone opposed to ICE would literally write “anti-ICE” on a casing. F ICE, or name the President of ICE leaders would be more likely. Nothing is impossible but unlikely. Even if Kash is posting a real photo, it doesn’t necessarily imply the shooter’s motivation.

“Hey man, you got a Sharpie on you? Scribble ‘anti-ICE’ on one of them bullets really quick. It’ll make Kristi wet and Kash’s eyes bug out a little more. We might get a promotion!”

Is there anyone actually pro-ICE? I don't think they have the unearned stature of the cops or the earned stature of firefighters. I wonder if the right just sorta stays quiet on the subject of masked, armored, heavily armed thugs rounding up people who are now missed in the fields and at the factories.

Fucking Idiot World.

The north wind feels nice in Johnson City. I think a Trump guy took his two flags down. They were on the gate to a nice piece of land. I wonder if we can get reports on Trump flags as we do about candidate signs prior to elections.

Yes - most of MAGA is all for ICE.

the MAGAts fucking love ICE.   Love it.

The VP of the United States, everyone.  Getting in pissing matches with people on Twitter.

We have nothing to fear, but fear itself!

...better angels of our nature.

Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.

What, precisely, did I get wrong, dipshit?

Is there MAGA propaganda or flags or rallies or anything else where they're, "Yay ICE!"?

I'm ignorant, so the question is unprejudiced. I missed the whole rapture hullabaloo.

I know MAGA loves cruelty and scorn for Hispanics doing all the hard work around here, but do they cheer the instrument?

Thanks for informing my lazy ass.

Trying to make sense of the senseless. Best I’ve read so far. These individuals (lots of commonality across the board with these shooters) aren’t tethered to anything other than the hot issue of the moment.

If the objective is to kill someone  don’t think for a moment (even if the person they want to kill is someone we are aligned with or someone we hate) that they wouldn’t think twice about putting a bullet through any one of us to get to their target.

They get their target they win. Even if that’s the last act they commit on this earth.  It doesn’t matter to them if any of us are collateral damage.

I get it some have political leanings. And some absolutely are in a box.

I get this and I’m not taking away from that. Some identify as far right, far left or whatever the fuck. They leave their manifestos. They have their “reasons.” And in the last few years we are seeing some disturbing trends.

The only hope is that we try to get to them before they decide to leave their (parent’s) house one day with the intent to kill. many know they aren’t coming back so they honestly don’t care who they kill as long as they hit their target.

I guarantee that IF this idiot’s motive today was just to shoot up ICE he really didn’t care if he killed any detainees. Or hit some man walking in the area minding their own business.

Depraved indifference. And his life obviously didn’t matter to him. So any of our lives sure as shit don’t. No matter where we stand on the issues.

my two cents.

These are people who grew up watching their opportunities get smaller and smaller, and typically don't have much of a social life in the real-world. It's not a "that messican took muh jerb!" thing, but just a disaffected and antisocial thing. There's a snippet that really illustrates that:

Quote

I wasn’t able to find anyone with insight into Jahn’s more recent views, something that his friends said was unsurprising given his withdrawal from social life over the past few years.

“If you’re having trouble finding people besides immediate family who knew him, that’s part of the story,” one friend said. “Every mutual friend drifted away over that kind of edgelord behavior.”

There's a whole generation of disaffected young men who have no social life outside of a screen, and they're VERY aware of their second amendment rights

So did about 50 million other people.

"The gunman had anti-ICE messaging carved on the bullets he used. What, precisely, did I get wrong, dipshit?"

I'd say that's beneath the office of the Vice President of the United States, but any dignity evaporated when Trump walked into the White House. It's WWE reality TV nonsense 24/7 now. Every American should be embarrassed, but sadly, that's just not the case.

The time for acting like adults is over. The opposition (not just Dems) need to turn the page on acting professional and become the WCW to Trump’s WWE. Yes I know the WWE owns the WCW now, but you get the idea. It was quite a time in the 90s when the WCW was taking over wresting and pop culture.
