Can't wait for Mullet to give aggy a Danny Thomas Special, without the glass table.

Aggy will absolutely get rolled.  And then the ag message board will light up about how the SEC hung them out to dry and didn’t protect them from getting embarrassed because the SEC doesn’t love them anymore now that Texas is here.

Those braindead dildos over in Liucciville are mad as hell and they are just gonna take it like they always do.

Think about the last two years have gone for them. At the end of 2021, they had beaten Alabama, signed the highest ranked class in history, and we had gone 5-7. Flash forward two years and in the intervening time they have gone 5-7, fired their coach, and watched us make the playoffs.

Bowls are always a crapshoot, especially recently with so many upperclassmen with talent sitting out. But mullet's career bowl record is 11-6, so it looks like he at least gives a shit about them. I hope Vegas makes aggy at  least a 2-1 favorite.

Seriously, Texas isn't as good as Bama or Georgia.

I wonder how we might find definitive proof of this statement?

Lulz at Blinndergarden churning out all those next generation ags. I bet their course requirements consist entirely of aggy fanfiction where they learn to weild their crayons spinning yarns about those BigXII glory days and assisting visiting fans with directions to the tacklebox dominating the campus skyline.

I have a black lab dog that spends time in the yard but is mostly indoors. I also have a couple of indoor cats and an outdoor cat. Aggy is the outdoor cat.

They had exactly 1 season with more than 9 wins in the Big 12. 1998. And they still lost to Ricky and the Horns that year.

It's hilarious.  They averaged 7-5 in the Big XII, with (as you said) 1 double-digit season.

And yet TOM LANDRY, a Longhorn that needs a large statue next to DKRTMS as well, was a B-17 Flying Fortress bomber pilot in World War II.

Funny how much that is conveniently forgotten.

aggy never had a World War II Hero that accomplished anywhere NEAR as much as Tom Landry did.

According to "Echoes of Texas Football: The Greatest Stories Ever Told," Coach Landry flew 30 missions over Europe surviving one crash landing.

This is an incredible article with some great pics:

If you leave out all years after 1995 and before 2012 that are not 1998, Texas A&M averages 11 wins a year.  That's just basic math ya dumb sip.

Big brother in the CFP, they couldn’t buy ERob, and the SEC slates them to get hung out to dry by OSU. #FAFO

Also, read his autobiography.

Tom blamed himself for single-handedly costing Texas a SWC Championship by getting a handoff on a 4th-down play (4th and 3 against smu, IIRC, on what would have been the winning drive deep in pony territory) and somehow lost his balance and fell back on his ass.  Game over. Texas lost that year's SWC championship.

It's Greatness tempered with Integrity and Humility.

That was not my understanding decades ago. The fighting wars stuff is fairly recent. Their tea-sipper thing had more to do with them being manly types out farming the land and doing the hard work while the effeminate elites of UT sat on the porch sipping tea. This also makes sense if you recall their pride in being farmers. A hard core generational Aggie who joined the corps explained the epithet just this way last century.

Oddly, the military claim has sprung up as corps membership has gone down. So many non-corps Aggies are very concerned that they be considered a military school. All of these soft suburban kids like to say, "We were off fighting America's wars while you were..." It's bullshit.

Lastly, I don't think actual veterans would denigrate another school who also produced veterans. That's something for phonies to do when they don't know what they're talking about.

What if you came from a farming family (both sides) and graduated from UT?

"We were already booked," Texas A&M athletic director Scott Woodward told the newspaper. "We're booked 10 years out. He had an opening at the time, and it suited him, but it didn't suit us."

The Aggies reportedly have Appalachian State and Miami scheduled in 2022, then New Mexico and Miami in 2023. After the Aggies declined, Texas athletic director Chris Del Conte scheduled Alabama for those two years instead.

"You look at where national championships come from and the caliber of play, and you see it every week," Woodward said. "It's hard on a team, and it's a pounding. So you have to be careful how you schedule your nonconference games."

🤩

Don't ever stop being aggy you wonderful dipshits. So glad we scheduled Bama instead, obviously.

I hadn't forgotten totally about this, but I doubt I would've made the connection. I wonder if aggy has.

I did. My dad said, "You can't go to A&M. You're a real farmer."

(Dad was pre-vet at CSU so he knows what a real Ag school is.)

edit: and then he also said, "Plus you can't take a joke. jfc."

Who exactly will coach ATM in their bowl game? It was reported that Elko won’t. Now former HC’s Petrino and Addazio have left, and interim HC Robinson is heading out as well.

I lose IQ points trying to read that dipshit’s posts but did he troll himself? The double negative means that Texas’ win over Alabama SHOULD be the deciding factor. Was he not trying to say the opposite? Now gotta go do something to regain those lost IQ points.

The takeaway is that he thought our win was not impressive because how "awful" OSU are. Don't think he was expecting the aggys to be paired up with them. Would be funny to see how he spins it when the aggys lose to them.
