Do Aggie tears have the power to re-hydrate Lincoln’s brisket?

No, nothing can help that fucking brisket no matter how tasty and wonderful.

Why are we not talking about the true marvel here: a knife that could survive hacking up that brisket?  Post a pic of that brisket, your knife and the logo, and BOOM, you've just made top 5 Christmas gift ideas thanks to Lincoln.

I didn’t know where to post this but I figured this thread’s participants would most appreciate it.

I mean, it's a very accurate assessment whether folks here enjoy it or not.

It’s funny to me A&M folks think the SEC/Sankey are catering to Texas with their football schedules when Sankey has been catering to A&M since they got into the league by manipulating the bowl schedule so A&M doesn’t play Baylor or Tech

A&M folks also think the rest of the world is jealous of their traditions.

In Lubbock? Dead cow processing.

Cmon. That’s not fair. There are live cows on the feedlots too. The manure and urine smell complements the rendering smell.

Yeah we used to joke when driving to Summit County from Austin to work at Keystone and Breckenridge every Xmas and spring break that West Texas had its own versions of the state tree, flower, bird, etc and that the cows would play king of the hill in their manure piles.

Bird: Vulture

Tree: Telephone pole

Flower: Crabgrass

It's funny because it's true. In high school I visited Tech and that is exactly why I rejected the idea of attending Tech or ever visiting Lubbock.

What did Purdue have to do with it? Was he a transfer? I thought they recruited all their Dline talent.

Nic Scourton played at Purdue for 2 years before transferring to aTm.

Edited to add:
Scourton is from Bryan.  He was part of the 2022 class, #22 DL recruit overall.  At the time, Aggy had Nolen (1) , Stewart (3), Bronlow-Dindy (4), Overton (6), Lucas (8) in the class.  Scourton became more interesting to Aggy once the transfer out began.

Gomer logic, they think they'd cruise through the big xii every year and lock up an auto.

Also, they probably restructure the playoffs next season just to make sure gomer never gets in.

Your SEC badge is aggy's biggest recruiting draw/pitch. Maybe not so much now with NIL.

I feel like Sankey always has at least one matchup that's designed for SEC to lose, so they don't look like they're fixing the games for SEC to win 'em all.  This year, seems aggy is the sacrificial lamb, as it is most years.

Uh , I don’t know if aggy loses this one as much as it pains me to say it.  It depends on how many key players at USC decide to opt out in the next few days for one.   They were 6-6 and a score away in a couple of games from being 5-7 or 4-8.

"Explain to me why I am wrong about that."

Uhhhh, how about the last 26 years of your program's history, ya dumbass.

Yeah, 100+ years of a 53% winning percentage in 3 different conferences isn't a large enough sample size. aggy would totally dominate the big 12 now.

They wouldn’t be better in another conference because they will remain exactly as they are, regardless of conference. A mediocre team, program, school, and fan base. Not a great team, not a terrible team, a mediocre team.
TAMU is a decent regional state school. Their football program is mediocre. Just like most state schools. Decent name recognition in the state in which they’re located but nothing else. And their football program is exactly a reflection of their school.
The problem is that they think they’re Yale intellectually, West Point militarily, and Alabama athletically.
They’re not. They’re a mediocre regional state school. And they always will be.

Honest question here: once a player opts into the portal, are they allowed to play in the bowl game, or is this a case by case basis?  I feel like aggy just took a nut punch with the portal declarations and will have a light roster if they sit the guys that have a foot out the door.  Hell, I think that leaves them Reed at QB, maybe a walk-on?  I know Sark's said once you throw your name in the portal, you're no longer on the roster, but not sure if that's by rule or by policy for Texas.

#81146

I don't think there is a technical restriction on them playing, but I don't recall any instances of a player who has already entered the portal continuing to play for the team they are leaving.
