I would definitely have a beer with him and even buy.

Would be a fun conversation.

I’m old enough to remember when college football observers questioned whether Texas could handle SEC competition. Now, Texas does not have a “signature win.” Beating Michigan, OU, Florida, Texas A&M, and Clemson without a “signature” win says more about them than Texas. https://t.co/2tbF4o6uMX

I'd ask him why they still allow the vaunted SEC to play FCS teams in Non Conference...AND more specifically, why they're allowed to play them in November.

For all the talk of Texas weak schedule, we at least didn't play any FCS teams and damned sure don't play them in November for a cupcake.

Stupid sip. Sankey and the SEC give tu the easiest conference schedule. When you don't play the murderer's row that the Fighting Texum Bulldogs have to play every year, you don't need that FCS team in November.

I could have sworn we played an FCS team on November 30, 2024.  I must be losing my mind.

That was a D2 team, not FCS.  BIG difference.

Haven't we already played Georgia more often than aggy has in 13 years of their SEC SEC SEC scheduling?

saw over on r/cfb that Klatt released his early top 25 and has Texas #2 and Aggy #19. The first comment gave me a laugh

Need to remind them it’s only murderers row when you’re a victim and not a killer.

It’s even better than that. Their annual move up the rankings over the last few years has coincided with the U.S. News rankings’ increasing slide into irrelevance, to the point where now the rankings are practically meaningless.

For years all we heard was how great top to bottom the SEC was in football and baseball.

We heard it for years that the SEC schedules were the gauntlet of sports.

We get here and beat almost everyone’s ass and it is because we have an easy SEC schedule.

Go figure.

It just means more. Until it doesn't.  aggy left the big 12 because it was too easy right, with their 1 championship in 16 seasons there.

The guy on the right isn't wrong.  I suspect coaches see it as a giant payday.  The coach just needs one decent season to get a ridiculous extension and buyout and they have set up themselves and their children for life.

SEC Power rankings: Despite slight losses, Texas A&M retains spoiler potential after spring portal
With the spring portal over and done with, rosters are essentially sealed across the SEC until kickoff arrives. The Aggies have put together a grouping of talent that has a lot of fans filled with cautious optimism by this point, but they lost a few players to the spring portal.

The only really notable name was Micah Hudson, but he never played a snap for the Aggies, instead having an extremely short-lived stay in College Station before returning to Lubbock. Hudson was not all that the Aggies brought in at receiver, though, with KC Concepcion and Mario Craver being some really notable names on that front.

So after the spring portal moves, how does the conference shake out? Let's take a look.

If Arch Manning continues to play as far as we have seen then he’s winning a Heisman and a national championship. He’d have like 3.5 yards passing and 1k yards rushing and 40 TDs.
