I do like that they get to spread their wings and play in a place like Las Vegas.

This gives the rest of the world a chance to see their mental health crisis and spread awareness of socially unacceptable people.

wonder where they held regard practice last night

So, bet heavy on the road game @ ND next year?

It really, really sucks that we didn't win the SEC Championship. If we had, it would have finally gotten through to Aggy Nation just how incredibly inept they are. The fact that they have failed in over a decade to even get to that game and we got there in our first year hilariously speaks volumes, but what a wonderful opportunity we had to school them beyond all doubt how much they truly suck. Now, they still retain hope each year that they are ready to 'turn the corner.'

I love TexAgs. For sheer entertainment value, it dwarfs anything else on the web. Just today, I saw this on TexaAgs. They are truly amazing.

Bought my daughter a 240Z in around '85 or so. It was a hella fine little car.

TI for the win. But not a calculator as such, more of a math trainer.

Sorry for the derail, but aggy talk gets boring, and sometimes even music talk can't save it.

Texas A&M football team “sawing ‘em off” as the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band plays the Wary Hymn at the Las Vegas Bowl Kickoff Luncheon:

I know this is probably a stupid question, but at some point has anyone ever said, "Hey, why are we singing about this one school every week even when we are playing someone else?" Do they just like to sway? They made a statue about it on their campus for fucks sake. Why would anyone be proud of that?

Like To Sway is a good name for an a cappella group, but not so much for a guitar band.

Five bold predictions for Texas A&M football vs. USC: How Aggies will thwart Trojans
Texas A&M football is gearing up for their bowl game against the USC Trojans this Friday. This promises to be one of the more entertaining games on the entire bowl slate, given the big brands and the style of team each program boasts. Here are five things I think we see in this one.

Shootout in the desert
This is a game that I see ending up as pretty high-scoring. The USC defense is already not great, and they're losing several players before this one. Even though the Aggies won't be at full strength at the skill positions, I think they'll still be able to move the ball on the ground pretty well. I could see the final combined score getting up into the 70s or 80s— something we've only seen in one Aggie game this year, and that one was a triple-overtime venture.

Rueben Owens goes for 100+ in total yardage
Speaking of a big day on the ground, I think we see Owens back much closer to form than previously. Though I expect Amari Daniels to get the bulk of the carries, Owens should be much more game ready than he was for Texas. With his ability to receive out of the backfield, return kickoffs, and run the ball, I think he ends up with over 100 yards in total offense.

Rylan Kennedy registers multiple TFLs
A guy we saw begin to emerge in last year's bowl game will now get the start in this year's bowl. Kennedy has flashed massive potential all year, and now he will get as many snaps as he's had all year. He'll capitalize on that opportunity, to the tune of multiple tackles for loss.

Aggies turn over Trojans more than once
Lincoln Riley's squad is a -2 in turnover margin for the year, losing 18 and gaining 16. The Aggies are a +4, having gained 17 and lost 13. Mike Elko's defense will create a couple of big takeaways here in this one to give the Aggies the edge when it comes down to the final minutes.

Texas A&M football wins by double digits
Though I think we see a little bit of back and forth in this one, this is a game that Texas A&M football should win comfortably. The Aggies will pull away in the second half here and end up winning by 10+. If I'm right, that'll be a nice way to end the year, with an exciting 2025 to look forward to.

Midnight yell was help promptly at 11:00 am in the parking lot of the old Fiesta Rancho hotel.

In the parking lot of a casino demo site with the dust cloud enveloping the yell leaders as they shout authentic frontier “comedy” gibberish about ol’ rock and usc.

But yes, at 11 am. Because midnight yell practice. Because aggy.

LHB should work up a direct copy of A&M's "drill" and music for the game in Austin next year.  Bonus:  less rehearsal time.

Do that and deny a permit for their "parade" up Congress Avenue next year, and they'll be fit for straitjackets and padded rooms.  Lulz.

 Great. Young dumbasses.

Z80 is a CPU. IBM PCJr is a computer model. Might as well compare the 427 V8 to a Cadillac... or an aggy to Princeton.

First, compare Z80 to 8088, and second, the 16-bit 8088 used on the PC was actually operationally slower than the 8-bit Z80... so, no, the PCJr was not "better" in any way other than aligning with the commercial reality of "yeah, it cost way too much and no, it didn't do exactly what we wanted, but hey, no one ever got fired for buying IBM."

Wouldn't put a ton of stock in the results of these non-playoff games in terms of 2025 but ending the season with a W and beating an actual blueblood like USC - regardless of record - would be significant for Elko and the Aggies, as would 9 wins.

So…if they lose, it’ll be no big deal but if they win it’ll be “significant”

Another entry into aggy stupidity in the wild. My wife and I were out looking at houses today, we drop in to a new build subdivision that was on the way and speak to the realtor lady sitting at the model. She was nice enough, but then she uncorked that she grew up in B/CS and went to A&M. My wife being a 2%er said she also went there, and then I said “Yep, and then there is me who went to Texas”.

Her countenance totally changed and really awkwardly and loudly she goes, “OH! *hisssss* *hissssssssss*” i just kind of looked at her and she just kept going with the hissing. It was the last words she said to me the entire time. Can you imagine being this stupid in a real life business setting?

I think that Texas fans tend to assume Aggies view the rivalry as we do- a rivalry, friendly for most, something to joke about gently, and not to take too seriously. Therefore, that’s how we talk to them in the wild.

Aggie fans tend to assume Longhorns view the rivalry as they do- a deadly serious contest between good (Aggies) and evil (Texas) and therefore talk to Texas fans that way.

Better yet, we should challenge aggy to swap programs next year. We perform their "drill" flawlessly and aggy looks like the keystone cops trying to perform our program.
