To clarify, Elko is a dead man walking because he's morbidly obese and hates salad.

I bet The Elk would murder a wedge with extra bacon and dressing.

It doesn't look to me like Elko hates anything remotely edible.

It looks like the only thing they did different was take those pictures at a different time of day.

C'mon man, you give it away when one picture has hills/mountains, trees, and rivers all in the shot.

Regarding what the ELK would have in the 'salad' category - I envision his hearty approval of this  -

Taco salad would of course be Elk's entrée to his Wedge Xtra bacon Xtra dressing in his "Keto" diet phase.

I can't even imagine that there are enough kids who think "hey that's cool" to fill a 5A high school much less a 70K student campus.  Good God.

I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again……..fucking weirdos

The word you are looking for is cult.

Spoiler

Absolute authoritarianism without accountability

Zero tolerance for criticism or questions

Lack of meaningful financial disclosure regarding budget

Unreasonable fears about the outside world that often involve evil conspiracies and persecutions

A belief that former followers are always wrong for leaving and there is never a legitimate reason for anyone else to leave

Abuse of members

Records, books, articles, or programs documenting the abuses of the leader or group

Followers feeling they are never able to be “good enough”

A belief that the leader is right at all times

A belief that the leader is the exclusive means of knowing “truth” or giving validation

10 warning signs of a Cult

Why People Join Cults:

To those on the outside, it can be difficult to understand why anyone would join a cult.

They Don't Know They're Joining a Cult - Most individuals don’t recognize the group they’re joining is considered a cult.

They Have Unresolved Insecurities

Another study found that many cult members experience attachment insecurity prior to joining a cult. Their insecurities may drive them toward a group that promises acceptance.

Once they join a group, they’re usually distanced from outside influences. After people are separated from the outside world, leaving the group becomes difficult. They often grow dependent on being in the group and develop suspicions of anyone outside the group.

This is why some people suspect that cult members are “brainwashed.” And there is some science behind this idea, as members are often told they’re being persecuted by people outside the group.

They Are Manipulated Into Joining

The other major theory about why individuals remain in cults is mostly sociological. Cult leaders often promise to reward members in some way. They may tell them they’re going to move up the ranks within the cult or they may convince them that something really good is going to happen to their special group.

Does all that sound familiar? Yes, those on the outside can't understand. It's weird because it's a fucking CULT!

Down in the Houston area you would be surprised. When I lived there, one of my roommates went to Montgomery High School out near Conroe and he said that at least 90% of the kids went to aggy for college. He chose UH instead because he hated aggy. Smart choice. He said Montgomery high was basically aggieland 2.0

We lived in the Clear Lake area for a long time, two of our kids graduated from Clear Creek HS. They’re the wildcats, but Aggie colors. I was so glad when they graduated, we moved, and I could toss all that hideous maroon clothing I bought. The Aggie hive mind is strong down there.

Now we live in rural ETX. The hive mind is even stronger up here. Tshirt fans everywhere.

The bad thing about getting a wedge salet at a place like Al Biernat's is that it fills you up and you have to suffer through the steak.  Not suffer but you know what I mean.

I love a good salad, but it’s a rookie mistake to gorge at the outstanding salad bar at Taste of Texas or a Brazilian steak restaurant.

Your lack of gastro intake capacity and will is disheartening. I understand Elko teaches a class on The Art of Consumption, perhaps you should look into it.
