Further proof these people don’t watch football. Or pay attention to what they watch.

LSU bailed on that in the 90s. aggy was actually good back then and beat LSU 5 times in a row, mainly because LSU was coached by Curley Hallman.  They had two more years on the contract and LSU cancelled, using the We-Need-All-NC-Games-at-Home-for-Financial-Reasons excuse.   aggy threatened to sue, but LSU fired Hallman and got a lot better pretty quickly, and then offered to restart the series, but aggy said no.

Edit: Just found this...

This is from GBH, but the answer is provided by an LSU blogger:

Thanks for the clarification.

chinese astronomers in ~300bce observed Betelgeuse as a yellow star, likely at the very end of it's yellow supergiant phase

ptolemy ~150ce observed Betelgeuse as 'ruddy', indicating it had just begun it's transition to the red supergiant we observe today

thus, Betelgeuse is likely to detonate as a supernova some time in the next 100,000 years

therefore, aggy will likely make the playoffs before Betelgeuse detonates

OOC or not, I feel bad for A&M that they seem to play UGA every year.

Hate to question your sage logic there, but really, like Bama before them, aggie more lives vicariously THROUGH Georgia rather than fictionally beating them. It would end in a magical moral victory if they did play them though.

Stars spend millions of years as red giants before going supernova. Humans haven’t even been around for 100k years. Why are you lying to people?

So we're ranked #1, whether or not we deserve it, but aggy manchild gave us a ranking of #5....in the conference? 🤣 He always has to make them "power rankings" since they never bear any resemblance to actual on-the-field success.

We peaked at #7 in his power rankings last season, so we must be REALLY good this year!

I'll say 6 bc the natives will be restless after losing big to Notre Dame and suffering another embarrassing loss to Auburn.

Bye week before Miss State gives The Elk and Klein time to groom the next big thing.

I think reed is decent and better than what they usually have.  I think he is high risk to get hurt if Klein tries to run him a bunch given his slight build.  If Klein doesn’t run him much, he’s not much of a threat.  Kind of a catch 22.

This is a solid take. I always thought it was weird that a Bill Snyder protege and former Heisman candidate running QB went with Weigman. It was amazing that they were surprised when they found success with a running QB but then again they also fuck sheep and practice yelling.

I agree with Reed being a risk. One zone read against the mighty aggies of Utah State and Reed snaps his femur like a celery stick after it’s been dipped in ranch dressing.

Weigman was a mobile qb. Watch his HS tape. Sure he got fat once on campus, but in theory he would have been able to run klein’s offense other the fact he sucked.

This had me laughing, not because I disagree,  but because it's so aggie.

Reed is better than typical aggie QB. He's a threat when running, but shouldn't cause he's tiny and will break easily. However, he can't throw for shit either.

To further the aggie reality, I think they will run him a lot BECAUSE he throws like shit. This will likely result in injury sidelining him by...

Wait for it...
