December 17Dec 17 regardless of finances and the world now knowing who and what they are, i actually think this is a smart move by aggy if you promote from within as first choice, you attract more quality at the entry level

So either he is there to help Wiggins completely overhaul the Offense this offseason (have fun Reed) or he is going to be trying to learn Klein's system to help Wiggins call plays in... Yeah, this is a comfort hire or everyone else said "No". Agree that it appears aggy likely keeps Klein's offensive system with a few tweaks...
December 18Dec 18 They're working overtime down in the Texas A&M Fightin' Texas Aggie Strategy Bunker. Mike Elko smiling because the cooler weather allows the switch from moo-moo to cotton hoody. So slenderizing! More on focusing on success: The Aggies will try to abduct the Hurricanes and replace them with a bottom five SEC team! * Elko never really sounds very sure of what he has done. No matter. Stressing what it takes to be successful is key here. See what I mean?
December 18Dec 18 That’s what you want to see. First you get a new offensive coordinator who has never called plays, then you look to hire another guy to teach him how to do his job. Recipe for success.

BTW, Mizzou rushed for over 200 years in that game at over 6 YPC when they were fielding a QB that everyone knew wasn't a threat. This A&M team is getting more run for beating up on the bottom half of the conference than any team in recent memory. ND was a good win. It was game 2 and absolutely needed some fortunate breaks to get the W, but it was a quality win. But that's the list. I can't help but think that Miami wins by double digits. ND was breaking in a new starter. And Mizzou was on their #3 QB in his first start. I don’t consider either game a good win, but ND is still their best win. They beat NO ONE this year.

The Fighting Texas A&M Aggies from Texas A&M are the classiest, manliest, least homoerotic group of classy manly men to ever show visitors to their stadium. There’s a Planter’s Peanuts online poll that proves that 99.12% (Whoop!) of lesser college football fans and all Aggie guests who register to post on Texags about their super wholesome hospitality agree. Aaaaaaaaa-whoop! whoop! Caneck!

What happened to that douchebag shot/discus thrower with an aggy mom who went there and sucked, ruined his track and football careers, and transferred? What school did he transfer to (speaking of goobers)?
December 18Dec 18 Carson Beck will easily be the 2nd best QB they've faced all season, no? Plus tons of experience.. able to read the D

Remember how giddy they were at getting the higher ranked, nearly 5-star OL from Katy that season? And we had to settle for his teammate, the measly low 4 star/high 3 star? That one worked out about as well as everything works out for them and Hayden Connor is still on an NFL roster

December 18Dec 18 Baylor beat us in 1974 for the first time in forever. They left their scoreboard on all weekend. They had posters made. Home beat Visitors.

December 18Dec 18 Not seeing the big deal, it isn't like they are going to show up in blackface or anything. Oh, wait...
December 18Dec 18 a tradition that dates back decades, but someone pointed out in a tweet it's been done twice back in the 80s. Aggy tradition for ya...

December 18Dec 18 Well unless you're like 175 years old, of course there's no racial privilege NOW about working in a cotton field But it has historical racial connections

Slaves were shipped by trains and barges back in the 19th century as well...that doesn't mean we now associate trains and barges with the slave trade. Not everyone who grew cotton in the 19th century was a rich plantation owner with slaves in the deep South. A lot of Texas family cotton farms (mine included) were worked solely by the family. That's why my great great grandparents had like 11 children...they needed that labor supply.
