fucking madman.  i could watch a movie-length behind the scenes feature of the making of MI-Fallout

He did the HALO jump over 100 times out of that plane over the United Arab Emirates with the broken ankle. Learned to fly a helicopter over a couple of months. The man is a machine.

The fact that cruise did all the stunts for this is incredible. Great flick too. Dude is crazy, but mad respect for him.

altho he has stuntmen.  they just test all the stunts 5x 10x 20x for him before he attempts the shots.

the wild fucker did the building jumps tho - where he broke his ankle.  i for sure thought that was CG.  even with a harness, i wouldn try that shit goddamn.

The crazy fucker broke his ankle on the building jump, but still pulled himself up and ran past the camera limping to complete the shot. He may he looney tunes, but total respect for him.

Saw this in 3-D this evening.  Several scenes where pucker factor was 12+ and Cruise doing his own stunts still amazes me.  Always enjoy the twists in this series and this one delivers as well.

Was 3D worth it? After I watched it In 2D, I thought there were many scenes that would look great in 3D.

Definitely worth it.

He can be the new kitrich. Can do that for multiple films or can die in the transition film. Can die a hero or have a heel turn and get caught by renner/whomever.

excuse me, sir, ethan hunt will never go to the wrong side.  and jeremy renner is almost 50.  he’s not exactly young, either.

Wonder what happened to the scene in the trailers of the helicopter ethan was piloting almost hitting a semi truck... anyone?

So fun. Stunts alone worth it. I’ll see anything that man makes. Ultimate movie star in my opinion and only wants to entertain movie goers.

The long running scene felt like a final bow for “Tom cruise is running in a movie” take.

That was the most fun movie to see that I've watched in a very long time.  The stunts were amazing; the action was damned near nonstop; the storyline was above average.

Now I want to go see it again in 3D.

Fallout made me watch Rogue Nation for the first time and re- watch Ghost Protocol. Cruise is awesome in this role.
