I’m not interested in getting political, but your description of circumstances can get immediately fucked. Negged for attempting to absurdly minimize the assassination attempt on a presidential candid

All the $9.95er confidence is based on Hilson’s silent commitment. They are not smart enough to figure out that silent commitments are meaningless, even though it’s literally their job to know that. The reality is that he’s going through the whole process again. We’re in the mix, but that’s it.

not necessarily

#13305

Saying silent commitments are meaningless is like saying a girl texting you, "You up?" is the same as her texting you, "can you help me move this weekend?" While it does not guarantee deals will be sealed, it certainly points to intent.

Every year we've have silent commits who stay committed throughout the recruiting process. And then we have silents who do not eventually sign. Just based on anecdotal shit, I think the former outnumber the latter, by a lot.

These are 17/18 year old kids who sometimes have a chance to make a huge financial impact for their family and extended family. Sometimes the decision is not their own. I have no issues with kids who get swayed elsewhere. Just as long as they don't do it last minute or talk shit about Texas or the coaches, good luck to them.

I remember Gerry talking about silents before the season saying they stick about 80% of the time, so I would argue that they’re definitely not meaningless.

I think that would depend. You drive a truck?

Idk I’m pretty confident the percentage of verbals and silents ending up at a school is much higher than those that do neither. Wild guess though!

I know it's a lot to ask on chatboard, but the word you're searching for is "relatively."

One absolutely can be "relatively fucked", but it's extremely frowned upon.

Not in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Alabama, or Kentucky.

I've been to all of these cities and 8/9 seems way too low for Columbus. I certainly think it's more depressing than NOLA, Orlando, Memphis, and Providence.

Also, make sure to point and laugh at OU as well since Norman is basically just a shitty suburb of #3 OKC.

OKC would have been around #38 but they saw all the dicks being eaten in Norman and the horror pushed them up to #3.

Wow. I forgot Providence even existed, as well as Rhode Island in general. Now all I can think about is Rhode Island and Delaware.

We rarely get the full context of these things. It could be French and Charles’ high school coaches encouraged them to make the visit so the Miami coaches could get a look at some of their younger guys.

An away win against a ranked team and let's never speak of this again.

I reserve the right to mention it in passing while discussing the winning streak that eventually gives us a winning record over those assholes, but otherwise, we’re in agreement.

We played basically the same way as against Georgia.  This is the way we lose against teams as good as us and just squeak by against teams worse than us.  It's not good enough to win a league or a playoff.

Did you watch UGA - Kentucky, Oregon - Idaho State, or Ohio State - Nebraska?

We ain’t losing to those shitbags. LSU still has defense issues and aggy took that advantage. If anything our defense will show up ready. And hopefully healthy.

Arkansas hasn’t scored 20 points or more against a top 25 D but sure let’s spot them 21 because of their game against MSU of all teams. We should step it up for sure either way but cmon

You’ve now stated today that 5-3 Arkansas is going to have more sacks and beat us by more points than Georgia. Certainly a take!

keep burying your head in the sand with the rest of the lemmings.  sark probably doesn’t even win another game in burnt orange.  we’re losing out this season and he’ll lose the first four in 2025 before he gets fired.
