I’m not interested in getting political, but your description of circumstances can get immediately fucked. Negged for attempting to absurdly minimize the assassination attempt on a presidential candid

("edge"? ... )

No rating from 247.  On3 has him mid-3*.  Rivals and ESPN have him inside the top 200 nationally.  I'm betting his 247 ranking will be pretty good, Perroni was saying he looked real good at a camp recently.

There was some handwringing on a LHF post from the Florida board that we already have momentum with Harlem Berry.

What is LHF in this instance? Also, can you link the thread?

Longhorn Frenzy on twitter. He's the one who sleuths the other boards for other team tears.

Gerry reporting KJ Lacey teammate, Bama commit and amazing badass WR Ryan Williams is communicating with the Texas staff.

Spoiler

Saraland, Ala. – When 4-star quarterback K.J. Lacey committed to the Texas Longhorns June 3, it sent shockwaves through Austin and the state of Alabama. That’s because Steve Sarkisian and A.J. Milwee had gone into the Mobile area and gotten a commitment from one of the nation’s top 2025 quarterbacks that was being heavily pursued by Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss and others.

After the news set in that the extremely talented signal caller was headed to Texas, Longhorns fans began asking if Sarkisian and staff would have a shot at Lacey’s teammate and friend Ryan Williams.

That’s because the 6-foot-1, 170-pound Williams is one of the best receiver prospects in the country in recent cycles. The Alabama verbal has a rare combination of quickness, acceleration, shiftiness, agility and vertical speed in spades.

On Tuesday, the No. 2 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle gave the news that Texas fans have been waiting to hear.

“I talk to Coach (Chris) Jackson, Coach Sark and Coach Milwee,” Williams told Inside Texas. “I talked to Coach Jackson last week, and supposed to talk to him again this week. I also talked to Coach Sark and Coach Milwee.”

JJR may help recruiting in more than one class.
A pipeline from Duncanville to Austin would not suck.

The potential WR haul for this class could be one of the best we've ever landed.  Harris has already visited a few times and in a good spot early for Moore.

There's a little break in the action between Texas target commitment dates, but there's still no shortage of Longhorns football recruiting news. Here's the latest on the offensive and defensive line fronts, as well as a note on an upcoming 2025 visitor.

— The other night four-star wide receiver and another Mater Dei standout in Marcus Harris announced he’ll be visiting Austin on July 25 when the Dead Period lifts. Of note, he’ll be joined by teammate Jordon Davison, the No. 1 2025 running back in the country. Back to Harris, though, we’re told that while it’s early Texas is sitting in good position for the 2025 prospect. The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder has his fair share of suitors (he’ll also visit Oklahoma on this Big 12/SEC swing), but the Longhorns appear is good standing as we sit here ahead of his junior season.

Roach (247), on Devin Sanchez.

(Hint:  2025 catnip for Satya.)

Spoiler

Roach (247), on Devin Sanchez.

— Sources I spoke with regarding 247Sports Composite five-star Devin Sanchez indicated that Ohio State is the team to watch early on. Before the convention kicked off on Sunday, I was able to see Sanchez in a workout Saturday night and talk with him. Sanchez confirmed that the Buckeyes lead right now with Alabama right behind them in a close race. Sanchez recently made the trip to Columbus and is looking to get back again before the summer is over. Though it's way too early to make any assumptions in a recruitment that will likely carry to December of 2024, it's hard not to like the early buzz if you're an Ohio State fan. Sources near Sanchez feel it's a strong possibility he leaves the state. Texas and Texas A&M are both in it but running at the back of the pack. LSU and Oklahoma are also schools Sanchez likes, but there's no doubt that the Buckeyes and Crimson Tide have separated for one of the top cornerbacks in the 2025 class.

We'll be at the top for Samchez after we win the Big 12 and 10+ games this year.  Also, fuck tOSU.

Gerry with the 70% pick for Dakorien Moore to Texas

Spoiler

Dakorien Moore

The Texas Longhorns continue to trend for 2025 On3 Industry Ranking 5-star Dakorien Moore. The 6-foot-0, 175-pound jet playmaker was in Austin for an entire weekend for the Texas Elite Camp June 3 with his mom. His mother is from Austin, has a lot of family still living in Austin and is a big fan of Texas. Moore is also liking what he is seeing from Texas, and knows he’s a priority recruit in 2025 for SteveSarkisian, Chris Jackson and K.J. Lacey. The weekend visit and time spent with Jackson and the Texas staff only strengthened the Longhorns position.

When at Duncanville High for a spring practice, Texas and LSU were mentioned the most with USC also getting some mention. The Longhorns received the most mention from various people close to the program. The Tigers expected to have Moore and teammate and good friend Javion Holidayon campus July 28-29, and will look to close the gap on Texas.

While there is not a timetable for a decision by the No. 10 ranked prospect in the 2025 cycle, I have entered an On3 Recruiting Prediction pick at 70% for the Longhorns to eventually land the DFW area 5-star.

I've stated it here before, but Gerry has called Moore the best WR in the state regardless of class. His film is extremely impressive, and it's all as a Sophomore.

The first one was  "What comes after Arch Madness?" and I changed it when Lacey committed. Probably time for a new one tbh.

The current one is almost Reese Bennett level vanilla.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2025 - Balls Across the SEC Nose

As a south texas resident all I know is I’ll be fucking pissed if we don’t get anyone from the SA area this class. Haven’t seen this much talent around there since the Manziel and Malcolm Brown days. Michael Terry, Ty Hawkins, Jaden Perez, Keven Hernandez, Chad Warner. Get me somebody.
