July 3Jul 3 Sounds like the 200 dollar tax stamp requirement got reduced to $0? Is this suppressors only or also SBRs?

Don't even care so much about the stamp, it's the fucked up processing and time.

I bought a can in January and it was approved 3 days after the paperwork (e-file) was submitted. Beats the hell out of the 1 year wait I had for my first can.

July 3Jul 3 If trusts are still taking longer, just transfer it as an individual and move it to your trust later since it doesn't cost $200 to do so anymore.

Mantis X hear and it's phenomenal. First time used it I was burnt after 20 shots. Over time I figured out my stance, trigger hold and breathing. Got to where I could go over 100 shots in on session. The Mantis X uses a motion sensor, not a laser. It tells you how stable your muzzle is when it feels the hammer fire.

July 11Jul 11 Interesting article about the 50 year history of the North American Arms Mini revolvers. https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/wheelgun-wednesday-fifty-years-of-hideout-guns-44821585 And just what fer…to help illustrate it, the Minis I bought over the past 35 years:

July 23Jul 23 That 320 is a snakebit flop, reminiscent of the Remington R51. Sig should have submitted a full size version of the P365 which would’ve been a better choice. Or an H&K.

July 30Jul 30 A few notes:Lots of new DS1911’s dropping right now. Apex Optics - take a hard look. They’re dope. Take advantage of sales right now

I've been shooting the MAC 9DS Comp in 4.25" and the MAC 9 DS 5" fitted with a Cerberus Compensator and I love them. Good guns / value price - Lotta room to upgrade and still stay well under $2k including quality optic. I'm very pleased. Also love my Bul Armory Tac Pro 5" SS. Bit more money but also a great shooter. Been fun to work on breaking through some of my sight confirmation bias and shoot with more speed using all three of these. I've always been an aim small guy with hunting rifles so it's been a challenge but I'm enjoying the competition with myself to see how much I can improve times.

We actually had the opp to work with them this year but passed. Mac’s - I hate the grip. I mean hate it. Other than that it’s a good platform gun to learn on. Let me know when you want to step into the 5k-9k game.
July 31Jul 31 Last week I had just parked my car in the drive when I see a guy, a neighbor I guess, strolling past my house on the way to the mail boxes. He had on a black t shirt over which he was wearing a double shoulder holster with both slots occupied. i wanted to ask him why he didn’t feel safe in the neighborhood without them, and letting him know that i had to quickly decide if he was an active threat or not. do you guys that carry, open carry every damn where? Edited July 31Jul 31 by Pato del Muerto
July 31Jul 31 I wouldn't carry one ever as he states above. I'd keep one in the safe, truck gun, etc.. I'm a massive SIG fanboy, first three pistols have been SIG's, but this is a problem. Think Chevy/GMC 6.2L recall that can bankrupt a company type problem

Have looked at some of the other grip modules but slow to move on that. I'm not sure I'm ready to start tearing down a 2011 yet. Not yet comfortable with my own ability there. I'm good with a rifle or 1911 but haven't yet studied enough to see what the differences are in the 2011 full disassembly / reassembly and what mods might be required of me.
