I don't think a lot of people are all that shocked that Nick Mullens off the street really doesn't look like that big a dropoff from Baker Mayfield.

Both starting qbs are 18 for 28 right now.

And none of the bs Baker attitude. There won’t be a pissy press conference from Mullens blaming everyone if they lose tonite. But I doubt they lose.

Wasn't that first down? Did Carr really need to take that kind of risk?

Don’t get all the Garrett love.  From what I’ve seen watching him this game, his contribution and effort been lame.

Nice throw there.

Nice throw, nice catch and nice job by the Cleveland guy getting him down inbounds.

No Manning boys tonight?

Sadly we don’t get them until January. What a waste. Best way to watch MNF.

I like Louis Riddick. He's a Pitt Man. He's the nephew of Timmy Lewis, another Pitt Man. I talked briefly with Riddick at halftime of the Pitt - Wake ACC game a couple weeks ago.

Timmy was headed to (I think it could have been a HoF) a great career when he injured his neck in a Monday Night game against Chicago in 1986. Timmy was a student at Pitt when my sister was in school. He even asked her out on a date, but she was already engaged. When he was coaching at Pitt, under Johnny Majors, he would allow me to sit in during his summer camp film study meetings with his defensive backs, as long as I didn't bring a pen & paper with me.

"WHAT THE FOOOOOCK WAS THAT?"

field mike was sensitive on the run prior to the TD.

The Bears are just painful to watch. Minnesota is interesting because they could go either way. I wouldn’t want to play them  this time of year no matter how schizophrenic they are.

When I was a little guy, about five, i had a handmedown Chicago Bears sweatshirt. It was white, with the Bears logo like the coaches have on tonight and it just said Chicago Bears. Since then I always said that if I had to pick an NFC team to root for it would be the Bears.

Memory ain’t that good!

I bet your mom remembers. Call her and ask, or have her find a picture.
