This is BS. I paid for Sunday Ticket. If I cancel YTTV I lose access to it and get no refund. Billion dollar companies fucking over customers. America. Fuck Yeah!

Lulz. Like anyone gives a shit about their “talent.” They could have dead air when actual games weren’t on and most of us wouldn’t notice.

  • I was looking at one of my credit cards I let my kids use for Uber, emergencies, vet, etc. apparently I pay for Spectrum, Uverse, Netflix x3, Disney+hulu x2, Hulu, prime, MGM+, peacock, AMC+, esp

  • It's a goddamn shame we never got to the point where you could simply just pay for the channels you wanted and not have to subsidize 90% of shit only 10% of people watch.

The answer has been posted here. I've been able to find a stream for every event I've wanted to watch since canceling all services.

If you cancel yttv, all you’re doing is strengthening Disney’s bargaining position, which will lead to much higher yttv and Disney streaming prices. It’s not helpful.

This shit just makes me want to quit TV altogether like I quit smoking 22 years ago. How hard can it be.

Any suggestions for watching on my laptop?  I'm in a sober living house without access to my tv.

First and foremost, best of luck on your recovery. I hear people have had luck just searching for streams on YouTube.

Thank you!  I'll give it a try.  It's a BYE week for my BYU Cougars thank goodness, but I was hoping to watch the Texas/Vandy game and a few others like OU/Tennessee, etc.  IT would be alot easier if I didn't enjoy CFB so much.

Posted earlier on this thread:  https://thetvapp.to/ncaaf , supposedly no popups

An alternative:  https://v2.sportsurge.net/list6-cfb , multiple alternative streams

It’s FCC regulations that were passed in the 1930’s and the cucklefucks in DC can’t decide which right or left wing fringe will be scorched earth pissed off if they change anything.

That, and the average Congress person has the practical acumen of a cat turd.

Not to change the subject but never ever ever ever ever get rid of this plan! I had it and changed it thinking I was getting a better deal since I only buy a new phone every 5 years and it’s one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made. Something about the way the plan is structured gives you first class priority on the network. I changed it to a different unlimited plan and my service sucks dick now in certain areas. I never understood why people would bitch about the AT&T network because it always worked stellar for me until I changed my plan and now it’s one of my biggest regrets ever.

Ha. Yeah typing that post I realized I just submitted a transfer request for my parents to split off on to their own plan and had a mild panic attack that I might have screwed myself. But the plan on my line isn’t changing so should be fine.

I have a similar legacy deal where I get Hulu for free with my Spotify plan that I’ve had for  7+ years.

I’m at the point now where my kids are getting old enough to have opinions on music and I let them play what they want sometimes, thus screwing up my algorithm but don’t want to lose the free Hulu switching to a Spotify family plan so I deal with it.

I tired drunk reading this thread and am I not smarter and can barely read. I have the Disney +bundle  bullshit which comes with espn +. Just looked on the app and it says the game will be on ESPN+ tomorrow but I may be hallucinating

I cannot get ABC or ESPN right now on YTTV .
Anyone else?

It’s just you

helpful.

Dam was hoping this would get resolved today.  No other service I've tried beats watching sports on YTTV.  Being able to record every game and jump between as many games as you want and never missing a play because it paused at the last moment you watched.  Also dig the multiview with four games on at once.  Plus I have it setup not to spoil me on the UT score if I'm busy and start watching late.  If Disney wants me to get Hulu plus or fubo they need to improve their features.

For now I will do a free trial of fubo this week and direct TV for the next game if this lasts.  I also set up an IPTV but the quality is just not clear enough for me.

What IPTV service are you using? I’ve used Smarters in the past and had zero complaints

So these mysterious free web site streams have to be getting something out of it, or they wouldn’t be doing it. What, exactly are they getting? It isn’t advertising revenue except for some tiny pop up ad aids revenue. It isn’t user subscription fees. It has to be organized crime dumping malware on your computer to monitor your keystrokes so that they can steal everything you own.

Well shit just signed up for the 5 day "free" trial of directv stream. Hopefully I can get a clean break when the trial is up.

The game is on ABC, so antenna will get you the game on your local ABC channel.

Also, as several have mentioned, if you search for the game on regular YouTube you will find someone streaming it (I'm watching game day right now).  Sometimes YouTube will take it down, but there are usually multiple options so just run a new search.  It's not ideal, but you don't have to worry about picKing up malware/virus.

Hook 'em and fuck Disney!

This is where I’m going today. I refuse to go through these gyrations this time. Fuck these cunts. Just gonna go hang out on my boat - that’ll teach em for sure.

Won’t be the first Longhorn game I’ve just listened to the radio call on.

So if I have espn+ I can or can’t watch the game?

No man. It’s not on espn.

so apparently you can watch gameday through the espn app for free today - no matter who you are subscribed to.  makes this whole thing all the more frustrating since espn can apparently press a button and make all of their content available to anyone and everyone.

No man. It’s not on espn.

On the app it says there’s 3 ways to watch. ABC, espn 3, and the sky cast. So if I cant watch abc the other 2 could/should work on the app?

It took me about 10 minutes total to sign up for the Fubo trial, set up what I wanted to record (college football, cnbc, pretty much it) and get it loaded on two TV’s. Differences between it and YTTV seem negligible. Might keep it.

Signed up for DirecTV for their 5 day free trial. All set for today.

Army-Air Force is on CBS

Tech-KSU is on Fox.

Damn. Crisis averted.  It's terrible that these 2 titans can't leverage a WS Game 7 tonight in their war of wills.

If you have YouTube TV linked in your ESPN app, even though in the past you could watch ABC games, you will not be able to today, even though you have ESPN+. ESPN+ games will work but not ABC/regular ESPN games.

Now - if you could use another family or friends DirectTV/Comcast/Spectrum/cable login, you could watch the game through your ESPN app.

This is a pisser. I pulled up the app to see where I'm at and gameday came on. It's a tease apparently.

The TVapp link I have shared has an IPTV subscription service through the Smarters app for $15/month payable in Bitcoin that gives you multiple streams with HD/4K quality streams with every channel under the sun and a library of movies, series and porn. That’s how they make their money - they entice you with hassle free/no popups from hell streams. I signed up for it to watch the Rockets. It’s been frustrating at times because of buffering but generally works well.

You can find porn anywhere for free. To have a reliable HD feed to watch the Rockets is what made me sign up.

Pardon the Luddite. If I want to get ESPN and ABC, is that Hulu? I don’t give a shit about getting Disney content.

yeah but it’s still not the same. i’ve got the arsenal game at 10 and the Texas game at 11. back in the old days when espn/abc was on my $180 cable package i could watch the arsenal game, then when its over start the Texas game from the beginning on my dvr, and skip most/all 1h commercials and maybe even part of halftime. i can’t do that today, which is bullshit considering how much we’re paying for all of these services.

Thankfully, I dgaf about anything except Longhorn football, baseball and volleyball, with the occasional roundball game thrown in.

And that's bad enough.

They have shit ton of ads running in the background and the views that they get on those ads is how

I am not canceling YTTV because I like them and I don’t want to reward Disney for their bullshit. Luckily, i am going to the game today and we are off next week so it should be worked out but I am about over this shit. I will just find something else to do with my time. You have to think advertisers aren’t loving this either.

Antenna was a success IMG_0352.thumb.jpeg.249c8a1f7b273fa8ebc959530d6b96c0.jpeg

I added an antenna a decade or so ago when uverse was fucking up college football watching. Switched in on yesterday and have a beautiful feed.   I think it cost $18.

Yeah I have/had an antenna or two from previous instances.  Damned if I can’t locate them now though. Don’t keep them hooked up because they look like shit.

I looked at pricing, and apparently the all ad bundle with espn unlimited is only $5 a month more than what I pay now, for the first year then $5 more after that.  But I’m on a legacy setup so unsure if I can go back down to current, if I wish to.

I went with the DirectTV trial. Looks good. If not resolved in 5 days I'm ditching YTTV.

OTA gives you the best uncompressed HD feed. Close 2nd is DirecTV satellite.
