Anyone know why the announcers keep saying the school district name/initials before North Shore? I didn't see any other schools/announcers doing that. Weird. Superfluous.

I don't think the announcers say Eanes Westlake HS?

I actually did hear them say Eanes Westlake yesterday oddly enough.

Because the more qualifiers you put before the school name the more intimidating it sounds.

QB run making DVille sweat. Gonna need to make an adjustment.

When did UIL go to the 4 teams per district playoff model? My senior year of high school (1995) was the last year of the 2 teams per district model, but they only upped it to 3 teams the following year.

It's been awhile, probably 10 years or more. There once was a time when you didn't go to the playoffs unless you won the district title. That probably went into the early 80's.

They wouldn't use Eanes. They'd say Austin Westlake. But you never see that until teams get into the playoffs, usually deeper into the playoffs.

Really? That's new.

I've seen three white guys.

A kicker, center, and wide receiver.

I'm sick of these fucking stereotypes.

Two kickers.

Big Cam dinged up. Knee injury.

Man. That's a big loss.

Looks more like he got kneed in the right thigh. Nothing structural. #42 on North Shore went low on him.

Gotta catch that, freshman.

Moore is a true frosh with lots of offers. OU, Florida, some big schools. Gotta catch that.

Bro you gotta catch that. QB threw him an absolute dime.

OL stepping up without Cam.

Moore may be awesome in a couple of years but at the end of the day he's a freshman. Can't rely on 14-15 year olds on this stage.

Granted that would have come back.

It doesn’t get much more evenly matched than this. These are two stud teams just smashing each other over and over.

Not working for me

What's it doing when you click on it? I'm not sure if you have to have a Facebook account or not.

It just gets a little bit faded.  I don't have Facebook.  That is probably why it won't load

Duncanville gonna lose for the third time to North Shore.

I don't have Facebook and it works for me.  Someone posted another Facebook link towards the start of the game that did not work, not sure what the difference is.

Samples is now 0-4 in state. 0 for 3 against North Shore. Just can't win that last game

Man that north shore defense is fast af

Looked like they had something to prove after all the praise of the Dville defense.

North Shore just won state with a freshman QB? Damn son.

Such as Pharr San Juan Alamo North Early College High School and 24-Hour All You Can Eat Carwash

Literally all those dudes are latinos. David Amador (receiver that caught winning pass) has a UTSA offer. Would be cool if he goes there, he’d be a hit with the fans. Duncanville & north shore both usually have pretty good kickers, always recruited from the soccer team.

Interested to see Bailey develop. Starting at QB as a freshman at a school that big and that successful is basically unheard of.

Anyone on the Surly go to Houston Harris Galena Park North Shore High School?
