No, that was known all week.  If they aren't going to run in rain, just postpone it.  Now they have the drivers back in the cars, but another round of rain is going to be there shortly.  What is different about these conditions than an hour ago?

Toto was quoted in an article this weekend that Mercedes may drop from supplying engines for 3 other teams to 2 because the cost caps have cut a big chunk of the profits out of it.  I wonder if Ferrari is thinking the same thing?

Not necessarily. If they get penatlies, Max will probably go at a crawl for a while to build Checo a gap, then speed up at the end to try to build his own gap. That could land Checo second.
