this Purdue QB has a fucking arm.   his accuracy sucks, but hes nailed like 4 mid- long passes so far and its only 20 mins into the game.

hes been an overthrow machine inside the redzone so far.

as of 29 mins into the game, the purdue QB, Aidan OConnell is 12/25 for 250 yards.

he's averaging 20 yards a completion...

4th visit to the redzone for Purdue and they have 1 TD, 3 FG.

he also had a bad overthrow on a post play to the EZ that got caught in the EZ for an INT.

but his short game seems off.  Hes overthrown his receivers in the redzone 7 or 8 times for sure.

Fumble!  Then a completion down to the 2.  Purdue with the chance to take the lead right before halftime.

O’Connell is shredding this secondary without one of the best WRs in the country. And TN is playing so fast, their QB has no idea what to do other than throw it 40 yards down the field.

I used to date a girl that graduated Purdue. She was awesome.

That’s all I got.

I love bootleg out of the I, especially down by the goal line.  No one is ever disciplined at keeping backside contain.

That's a catch right?  He controls it until the db pulls it out after they've both skidded to a stop well OOB

7 mins into the 3rd quarter and Oconnell has 19 completions for 360 yards and 3 TDs.....  that a decimal point shy of 20 yards per catch.

come the fuck on.    hes got a foot down for sure, 2nd  pretty much yes,  then 2 steps OOB the ball gets knocked out... AFTER it doesnt matter.

I am so fucking tired of these replay refs applying completely arbitrary rules to reviews.   especially when they overrule the mother fucking call on the field for no reason

19 ypc.  19^2=361

Damn.  They just showed Heupel on the sideline.  For a moment, I thought they'd brought back Phil Fulmer.  He looks awful.

another moment where the announcers SEC bias is kicking in.... saying that the PI  wasnt really PI..... the fucking receivers arm was being held down the entirety of the catch attempt.   it was clearly DPI.

Who was he throwing that to?  Neither of these teams are that good but it's a fun game.

horribad throw by OConnell... even worse than his first INT where he overthrew his receiver by 5 yards.... that throw was either 20 yards overthrown or he forgot what color his team was wearing

i think he thought the guy getting jammed up the middle would continue that way, though he started running to the far corner

Farva the Purdue Qb is that type of qb that will drive you crazy. Cannon arm. Makes some amazing throws then cant hit the wide open guy 5 yards away when he gets in the red zone. He seems apt to get nervious

#47

Purdue is without their two greatest players in Bell and Karlaftis, just a gigantic dropoff is talent on the roster when you take those two guys out.

holy shit...these fucking announcers are literally trying to convince us that ball wasnt on the fucking ground.

THAT was a fucking incomplete ball

and NOW the announcers remind us its ruled a catch on the field..... not once did these cocksuckers say that on the Purdue catch

love espn showing all these angles that don't show anything.  especially this backside one where everything interesting is blocked by the crawl
