Cincinnati is an 8-4 team in any P5 conference.

Meh, hard to know with playing against Bama in a semifinal. I think they could've won the Big 12, ACC, or Pac12.

Alright Cincy. Only 7 FGs to tie it up

honestly, the biggest shame i would take home as a coach is not putting up a touchdown. not a single one. even in a loss, you got to score a touchdown.

"A death blow for Cincinnati +13 bettors. Alabama adds a field goal to extend its lead to 27-6 with 6:20 left in teh fourth quarter. Even a late Bearcats TD won’t cover the spread now."

Does this mean notre dame are who we thought they are as well?

Most years there really aren’t enough teams to make a four team playoff actually competitive top to bottom.

Can't believe Cincy didn't blow Bama's doors off today. That 2 loss Baylor team would have ran away with this.

#566

Wow, Cincy really stinkin' up the joint...

Check-downs, running the ball, bringing in substitutions late so just killing clock.

Just bad football

He is ass my dude

Somebody said it upthread but roll that fucker out.  Give him some run pass options.  This OC thought a pocket passing game was the way against this DL?  Ok.

He is definitely going to lose money as a result of this game. He will fall to the 2nd round. His accuracy and legs will be enticing but he is not going to make it in the league

4th and 5 and two playside receivers run their routes short of the line to gain.

Cincinnati needed to play nearly perfect with Alabama help and they've coached and played like shit.

Alabama has better players at every position (most of them are a LOT better) and Saban is their HC.  This kind of boring and ugly asskicking is exactly what was in the offing.  You can’t pin this on Fickell or the Cincy coaches.

We're pinning their terrible coaching on them. Awful game management, etc. Everyone knows they're outmanned which makes it pretty important not to coach this badly.

No, there was no chance. Was over from the get go.

It's not like Bama hasn't done this to a lot of the opponents they've faced before:

38-0 on Michigan State in 2015

24-7 on Washington in 2016

24-6 on Clemson in 2017

31-14 on Notre Dame in 2020

The only teams to play them close in the first round were OU in 2018 and Ohio State who beat them in 2014.

Still hard to watch each and every game knowing that Saban should have been our coach in December 2013.

Fuck you Brown.

So Cincy doesn’t belong there? I mean enough with this shot. Bama has been one of the best teams in CFP since Saban fucking got there. They are playing much better than I though. They are trying to hang. Ole Miss would be down more. Same for ND and Ohio State.

Damned impressed with Cincinnati today. Great effort by a damned good team.  I didn't expect them to win, but really didn't expect them to play as well as they have.  I tip my hat to the whole crew

Yep. Cincy started looking a lot worse once nothing worked and they started getting frustrated. It was just an asskicking and Cincy shouldn’t have been there.

Alabama had more rushing yards against Cincinnati than against any other team, including patsies like Mercer and New Mexico.
