March 21, 20223 yr Downtown Austin....and at least per my weather app, rain chances keep dwindling. Down to 40%. Seeming more likely that for Austin, this will be another big nothing.

But seems like an odd pattern here. Mild to Moderate storms flowing north to south over DFW with the line then coming from the east. We've already had a couple of really solid chunks of rain. I feel like these days we're on severe watch are typically hot and humid all day just waiting to pop. Your monitor is upside down, bro.
March 21, 20223 yr Rain chances here in Cedar Park have dropped off a cliff according to Wunder and TWC. Guess I’ll mark myself safe on FB

March 21, 20223 yr From what I understand, weather apps are not the most reliable when it comes to severe weather. Phd might have two cents on that.
March 21, 20223 yr I see three cells of shit headed northeast from Boerne to centex. Edited March 21, 20223 yr by MissingInAction
March 21, 20223 yr At 343 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located 7 miles southeast of Bryson, or 12 miles southwest of Jacksboro, moving northeast at 35 mph. The Weather Service is reporting two tornadoes on the ground up there from what I can tell. Edited March 21, 20223 yr by SimonBolivar
March 21, 20223 yr All I know is they had us unplug instruments and go home early. stuffed one truck in the garage/wife trash storage facility and the other under a live oak, in case the hail gets to be of decent size. still the only places that are showing a decent event in the austin area are the local channel websites. The National ones all show it getting bad further east.

March 21, 20223 yr Allegedly: Reports that it hit the animal shelter, which is on 380 southwest of Jacksboro. Would put the path through the west side of town. Edit: NWS had upgraded it to a PDS (Particularly Dangerous Situation) tor warn. Edited March 21, 20223 yr by clapclapclap
March 21, 20223 yr I don't know how "accu" Accuweather's models are, but this is what they're currently showing on their future radar for 5:25. Adding link: https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/texas/weather-radar Edited March 21, 20223 yr by bolverk
March 21, 20223 yr Never good when the Weather Service upgrades a tornado warning to... TORNADO...OBSERVED TORNADO DAMAGE THREAT...CONSIDERABLE Jacksboro getting it right now.

But I've talked about that here. Lots of fun, mom and daughter were huddled in the bathroom, I was out on the porch whooping it up.
