November 4, 20223 yr East Texas now in Level 4 ("Moderate") risk. That's crazy for this time of year. Fully appreciate (as posted above) we've had tornadoes in November/December but feel like they typically spring up a. For example, I'm pretty positive we were in a level 2 in Dallas when that October 2019 tornado hit and nobody was focused on tornadoes. I distinctly remember getting the tornado warning alert and being confused and checking to see if accurate.

November 4, 20223 yr Been raining pretty consistently in CP since this mornin. Didn’t expect to get this much before the big shit came through but I’ll take it. Sun still covered up and has not peeked through just yet.

November 4, 20223 yr Austin seems like temperatures are lagging predicted temperatures by several degees, which I guess is why the "enhanced" risk of tornadoes is now pushing eastward.

Yep. Even Waco area has gone from 95% rain chances down to like 35%. But if it does, it gon be gud. I guess this front is a litttle stronger than expected, and the overcast lid was on long enough along the I35 corridor to keep the energy pretty bottled up. NE TX now in the extreme risk of severe weather when yesterday is was all in the modified risk.
November 4, 20223 yr Meh, with this one you had to be careful what you asked for. Going to be interesting tonight to our east.
November 4, 20223 yr 30s in the Panhandle, 90s in the Rio Grande Valley. Texas. 1 minute ago, Biff Tannen said: Got the alert for Travis County on my phone for 6-8pm. No good? Nah, we won't see anything. Totally fine with that this time around.
November 4, 20223 yr 7 minutes ago, NorthLoop said: What a crock of shit. Again. Not sure why you're upset we aren't getting any tornadoes over our houses here in Austin. We're still on the hook for a possible line of storms tonight. Anyway, there's tornadoes firing off in NE Texas at the moment.

November 4, 20223 yr Yeah storm spotters have confirmed one heading for Sulpher Springs. Fortunately these haven't been long track warnings so far. I hope that stays the same way for this one.

KWTX weather guy just said it looks like the Paris tornado might've been on the ground for 100 miles into Southern Oklahoma.
November 4, 20223 yr Son just called that he's under a tornado warning in Tyler. Sirens, the whole deal.

November 5, 20223 yr Back porch, heavy rain no tornadic shit, frontal passage, bourbon in hand. Paradise.
November 5, 20223 yr That Paris tornado passed a couple miles from the house I grew up in... so close to home? Looks like it hit a subdivision pretty hard.
November 5, 20223 yr Looks like Dallas County, proper, pretty much avoided anything but rain. Not even big winds or hail. Some of the adjoining counties, south and east got some shit, and a little to the north. I'm glad when these things blow through before or shortly after dark. Seems a little more anxiety-provoking when you can't see green-grey skies. Maybe it's the opposite though.

November 5, 20223 yr Just drove from Pflugerville to my house in SW Austin. Only lightning until I hit SW Parkway where it was pouring.
