Need to bring on Scally for Vines and Sargent for Jesus and a warm body for Long at HT Leeds' system is very different from Greg's shit system.
September 23, 20223 yr GERG insisting on pressing forwards but does no pressing in the second to last warm up game. dumbass.
September 23, 20223 yr hey but at least turner is getting some meaningful reps! the fuck is up with this pitch? looks like a hurricane blew through
September 23, 20223 yr is tillman playing out of position at the 8? thought he played more forward at rangers.

September 23, 20223 yr I mean, I don’t think I could take any man whose chin sits well behind his upper lip seriously.
September 23, 20223 yr Just now, Braff Zacklin said: Deserved. What a consummate ass-kicking. Yep, they had about a 20 minute stretch at the start of the second where they showed some life, but this team is a mess right now.

Greggg has completely fucked up the process to identify Miles Robinson's replacement by forcing his favorite into the process. I still think that Long is going to walk out there against Wales. That said, Wales and Iran aren't great.
September 23, 20223 yr that was a pretty good showing by japan. we're lucky aaronsen didn't get hurt.

Christian Pulisic missed the United States' next-to-last warm-up match before the World Cup against Japan on Friday in Germany because of an unspecified injury. The U.S. Soccer Federation said Pulisic was out "because of a knock he took in training earlier this week." The USSF said it was too soon to determine whether he will be available for Tuesday's friendly against Saudi Arabia in Murcia, Spain.
September 23, 20223 yr Really disappointing how bad the midfield was this game. Crazy how much missing Musah stands out.

September 23, 20223 yr Trying to build out of the back through the middle against an aggressive press with Turner as GK, Zimmerman/Long as the CBs and Adams as a lone 6 is a recipe for disaster. Turner's biggest weakness is distribution and Adams is at his best when he has another MF supporting him in progressing the ball (see Roca at Leeds). Long is just abysmal in playing the ball and Zimmerman is average at best. Just laughable "strategy" from Gerggg. Given how wedded he is to his brilliant "system," the only solution is to start a legitimate ball-playing CB next to Zimmerman (Ream and Brooks).

September 23, 20223 yr I'll be pretty surprised if we make it out the group. On top of the lack of confidence in our team's play in recent years, we're also due for a dud WC showing.

Wales 19 Iran 22 Japan 24 Not sure why everyone thought the US got a good draw for the WC. IMO it was a hard group from the get go and right now it looks damn daunting. USA looked flat and unorganized today, but I feel like it would have been a different game if Ferrera could have finished that cross. May have put some energy in the squad.... Something about the importance of having someone who can actually score goals/ Dead horse. Edited September 23, 20223 yr by Juicy
September 23, 20223 yr Japan's roster definitely plays at a higher level than Iran's. Iran has 2 players in Top 5 leagues while Japan has 12. Iran has 16 guys playing in Iran, Qatar or UAE while Japan only has 8 guys playing in Japan.

September 23, 20223 yr Who gives a fuck how good Japan is we just had 4 shots and 0 shots on goal with a B+/A- lineup. That would be an embarrassing fucking performance against Germany.

September 23, 20223 yr I don't really buy into the pressure and outside noise too much. But damn if it doesn't look like Gregg and this team have completely puckered.
