Another blatant obvious shove near the basket that gets ignored by this crew who put OSU in the bonus with 13 minutes left.

College basketball isn't really a smooth and efficient deal. Fans need to lower their expectations. Good and successful teams more often than not just grind wins out.

Oh...ok.

Allen has a strong game when he gets good positioning. Love how he quick he sees his options and attacks.

Someone upthread was wondering what had happened to TA.

Answer: Nothing. He's still badass.

How the hell was Carr so touted out of Minnesota? What does he do well? He’s slow and can’t shoot.

We’ve seen enough of him at this point to know he’s not a difference maker.

He's been really inconsistent this season. He is good with the ball and distributes well, but his scoring has been mostly off all season. When he scores, we are damn near unbeatable.

Last four coming up. Beard is good in the last four, let's hope we can pull this thing out.

Tech fans actually used to complain about Beard in 50/50 games  I didn't watch them close enough to know one way over the other, but the resiliency his teams consistently displayed gives me more confidence than I had with Shaka who always seemed to have our guys on the brink of disaster.

They just said we lead the conference if FT shooting. Not sure the last time that happened.

Absolutely trust Beard more in a close scrappy game than Shaka.

He’s very poised. And when he isn’t hesitant, he can score. These guys all just seem hesitant when they are all on the floor together. If they all click, he should be a good March. But it makes sense that a group of transfers who were the primary scorer or leader aren’t automatically knowing how to handle this.

Also, we don't really have anyone I have confidence to just put the ball in their hands down the stretch and let them take over.

He's way better than Shaka ofc but yeah there was a lot of complaining about that, and our record in close/OT games was very bad. Pretty much the lone black mark on his tenure.

This team will buy a girl drinks at the bar all night then some other dude will come in and take her home.  No killer instinct…

Yeah it’s a Big 12 road game. That’s gonna be a foul on us everywhere but Austin. And maybe in Austin

That’s been Texas basketball for the past 10 to 15 years or so

This is a bad OSU team to lose to and not look good at all during the game. No bueno.

And our slow starts are not good on the road.
