This board speculates on celebrity and non-celebrity deaths all the time (saget, Ehlinger, Tyler Skaggs, etc). All those people had their own problems & grieving loved ones too. Why can’t we do it here

Then we probably shouldn't make threads about things we don't want the truth about.

Well, with the Jake Ehlinger thread, the truth came out a week or so later. The immediate aftermath was mourning time for the family and should be in this case.

Unlike the Ehlinger thing, Sharon Shipley is not, and has never been, a Texas Football player. We have no “need to know.” I suspect we will anyway, but the day after is probably too soon.
 

I’d bet Bob Shipley will have more to say in due time. The Shipleys have tons of friends all over the state, and have always been well-respected people.

These people are family here. There is no distance. They aren’t famous people somewhere else. And most people were plenty respectful of the Ehlinger family.
