I don’t know…fan bases have had decades to earn their reputations.  There’s been articles like ‘what beer defines each school’ since the Big 8 became the BigXII.  If anything, Texas/OU leaving is just

Jung family can ball.  Witt is going to make them eat this list.

If ole Tadlock does his usual work, I'm guessing Jung won't be the only Red Raider on the All Big XII team AFTER the season.

Unanimous, fuck yeah!

I'm not sure that twiterer (twit?) knows what unanimous means.  I can only assume that it was Holliday that voted OSU #1

I don’t believe you can vote for your own team, so Pierce had to vote for someone else.

Correct.  Coaches can't vote for their own team, so Pierce votes for OSU.  That is considered unanimous.

I stand corrected. That seems kind of silly, but I see the reasoning.

I'd love to see who voted for Kansas and how that shook out...

Probably picked dead last on every ballot, I'm sure.

They have 10 points, so somebody voted for them to finish 8th.

Is there any tv for the oSu-Vandy series?

SEC Network+ so you need a streaming or cable subscription (not ESPN+) and watch it on the ESPN app.

So... no.  Got it.

Not B12, but noteworthy.  I was going through some of the different weekend series and one stood out: LSU.  Did yall see they are hosting MAINE?????  No way Maine has held an outdoor practice yet.  Thats very aggy of them.

Back is Gus's days we played Maine a number of times.  They used to have a pretty decent program.  I think they even got sent down here for a Regional a time or two, but I might be making that up in my head.

With a wiki search you are correct.  And they have been to the CWS more than aggy which is hilarious.

That was my first thought to upon seeing Maine playing baseball.

And then you confirm it. And then you make me laugh my ass off early in the morning.  Still not surprised though.

Any kid who grew up watching the CWS in the 1980s knows Maine could ball back in the day.

Aggy is hosting Fordham (NYC's NCAA team) this weekend.  Which is very aggy of them.

They obviously wanted no part of Houlihan Park, less than a mile from the Bronx Zoo:

Opening Day v. Vandy! Should be a good season, but I expect we'll drop this series. Vandy always seems to have MLB caliber pitchers across the board.

Pokes strand the bases loaded in the 3rd

This ump sucks shit. Our pitching does too. Also, VandyBoys seems a little lame for a program I view as quite dominant.

TCU down to SDSU 3-2 with runners on 1st and 2nd and 1 out in the bottom top of the 9th.  On MLBN.

Edited by WBT

Double to right ties it.  Runners on 2nd and 3rd, still one out.

TCU wins it 5-3.

They went to the CWS a bunch of times in the 70s and 80s.

What kind of program loses to a Maryland team?

Smh Peasants . . .

Terps got salty when we kicked their asses 3 out of 4 (?) In Austin a few years ago. They've actually had a decent program for a while, but I think they always ran into UVA in the postseason in the Cavs best years .

VandyBoys is beyond lame. You’re a fucking baseball powerhouse. Not a Broadway tap dancing group. Just incredibly weak shit

I'll murder anyone who keeps using OmaHorns of comes up with some ridiculous nickname for us. We’re The University of Texas. Enough said
