  • Oh, please tell me that's a real sign.  Collidge education at it's (ahem) finest.

yeah well, for those of us who aren't freaking out over this performance, it's pretty disappointing (and frankly quite annoying) how many people who are never seen on this board 95% of the time come f

  • We look putrid on offense because this is an elite level defense. We are getting dusted on the glass because this is a team of elite level athletes. This isn’t that hard

If Disu could make one fucking look in the paint that would be awesome.

This team struggles, a lot, from 2 feet in. I'd almost rather see our interior players shoot from 5 to 6 feet out.

LJ Cryer

Thanks, know of Cryer but thought they had one other guy coming back.

Scored free fifth row tix at the last minute! Flagler can’t miss.

Losing JTT means I can cancel Nola reservations though.

Probably the angriest I’ve seen Beard at his team this year.

KU shot like 58%.

"This going to be a street fight" quotes Fran.

Was Little Big Horn a street fight, then?

Two attempts inside of 5 feet and neither were dunks. And neither went in.

We don't have interior guys who will go up and dunk the ball.  They don't have the athleticism and explosiveness, plus they're just timid.

So we're playing against TJ Ford AND Travis Mays on the same day. No wonder we're getting mashed.

licon does not need to be out there, unless Beard has given up.

So Scott Drew owned Shakablah...

no surprise

for as big as he is Thamba sure is on the floor a lot.

You do realize that Baylor is very good team?

They’re not that good - not by a long shot. They had been playing average at best, getting worked by KU - WORKED. There’s no excuse to lose a game by no less than 20 and Beard’s personnel choices are questionable today to say the least.

Showed some fight at the end. . They’re the better team. . Hopefully we go 2-0 next week

24-0 run by Barnes is pretty GD impressive.

Beard is pissed by how soft this team is at times...

You're nuts. The team that got worked by KU was not playing at nearly the level of the Baylor team of today.

Baylor at their best has looked better than anyone this year. We're seeing them today looking closer to their best.

I don't find anything about this game as embarrassing. Baylor is playing unconscious on offense, and they're the better team. Better program, too, for that matter. I'm glad we've gotten to this point of the season without needing this be a win.

What's remarkable to me is that Baylor is able to play at this level with the players they've lost.

Our play has been embarrassing today. And that’s okay. And your point about their program being better is obviously true. But this is still embarrassing.

They got worked in Lawrence. We beat KU in Austin. We're going to lose to Baylor in Waco.

Ho hum.

dude should have fouled out 10 minutes ago.  he's been doing that all game but they just call it now.

Well, let’s see how well Baylor does in tournament.

It feels like it’s 25% on us and our effort and 75% just that they are better.

this team on the road makes me want to overdose on skyrizzy

Part of me wonders with all the transfers, if this team just doesn't understand that every team wants to beat them into submission every night.  It's not cause we are Texas, it's because we went turncoat on the conference and they all want to send us out with our tail between our legs.  They are gonna see everyone's A game, especially from in state conference foes.  This road vs home thing screams mentally weak.  We have to find a way to fix this.  Losing is one thing, but not even being competitive is a whole other story.

What a let down. Just when you think they're turning a corner into possibly a final 4 contender.

Dude.  Come the fuck on.  They've been w/o their leading scorer for several games AND they're the NCAA champs.

Good lord.

That's my take. Texas had to be at their best to even be within spitting distance. It also would have helped if Baylor had played a little worse.

Could be but if this is the case, they aren't even at full strength due to injuries. Kansas just beat them by 25.  Big 12 is tough every night.  We just gotta start bringing the same energy on the road that we do at home. Hopefully Beard can find a way to close that gap.

Brilliant astrophysicist versus DIY team. Yep, the same.

I never thought that. Beard thinks that. I haven't seen anything like that from this team. They just don't have the horses.

Stop. They are one of the real contenders for the national title

Is below 30% from 2-point range bad?  Asking for a friend.

Disappointed that the fans didn't rush the court. No respect!

good news is TCU at home is still left.

Roughest game to watch this year, so far?

Well we look putrid on O. Shooting less than 33% and getting dusted on the glass. And somehow we are winning turnover battle. Losing to Baylor on the road is fine. This game isn’t acceptable no matter how many times SL Express wants to argue otherwise.

Hats off to Baylor. Bears looked like their old (young) selves again. Just too much lenf, skill and athleticism.

And lulz at the usual/predictable overreactions cuz Baylor was better today. Take the loss, pussies! It's part of the sport.

Bad news is that TCU is one of the better road teams in the league.
